Sent to us through here some of our supported have been spreading our messages all across San Jose! Decriminalize all schools, end white supremacy and it's trolls, and survival is not a crime. If you see these up send us pics!
Members of Rad today went on an early morning hike at alum rock park to get some much needed community building in. We take our collective health and wellness serious!
San Jose RAD treated is members to a movie day on Tuesday. Those who build together relationships together, organize better!
Despite having limited donations or first summer free market was awesome. Our survival packs we made were huge success and we were able to connect with some folks haven't seen in a while. After our free market we also and cleaned 15 trash bags of garbage out in the creek.
Shout out to all the people who purchased items at our F#$k Trump stories of regeneration closing celebration we were able to use the money generated to make survival packs for the homeless! Free markets are every last Sunday of the month at the Tully library from 830-10:00!!!
straight from one of our accomplices homes. this is apiece of a mural we did in their garage. forced out of the home due to rising rents they took off a piece of it and framed in wood to keep. its 7ft high amd 4.5 ft wide. its for sale at a mere 10,000$ if you buy it the money will go towards finding San Jose RAD a permanent headquarters for our organizing
It’s official! Now you can buy San Jose RAD swag online! Each order will get a free RAD sticker! Check out our etsy shop : https://www.etsy.com/shop/sanjoserad
San Jose RAD has been committed to our work over the summer making and holding spaces for our members to reflect and grow emotionally and politically!
if you have any donations can you please message us either on instagram @ sanjoserad or email us @ [email protected] because we are running very low on donations. we accept all clothing (except childrens clothes) and any hygiene products and even food for either the homeless or for pets. we have a monthly free market every last sunday of the month!!!
This makes our hearts happy! As members of RAD we give our word to plant the seeds of Regeneration today so that our people, our community, and future generations can enjoy its fruits tomorrow. As a part of R.A.D we will remain committed to the cause of Regeneration against Destruction!
So glad we could put on an amazing show last friday and inspire people. We love our community and can't wait to see what the next year will bring! Thanks to anyone who made this closing show possible even by showing up, doing an art piece sharing the event! We love you all!! In the next month or so we will post up more photos and full videos to our facebook and YouTube channel! Hope to see you in the streets soon!
June 6 many of our members participated in an EMT workshop that we organized thanks to some community partners. We take seriously the knowledge necessary to save lives in our community. By teaching ourselves the tools necessary to maintain safety we rely less on outsiders from our community to maintain safety. We will be the ones to regenerate our community!
We stand in solidarity with Yanira and all victims of police and state violence. Proud to get time to build with the community of half-moon bay and the family of Yanira!
Saturday June 4th San Jose Rad went to half moon bay to support the life of Yanira, who was stolen from her family by the San Mateo police. Mental health crisis should not be handled by police they are not capable of meeting the social and emotional needs of our community!
On June 1st San Jose Rad celebrated the 6 members of our collective who graduated high school with a BBQ. We're so proud to see this youth navigate through a system that often times pushes kids like them out. Also shout out to little Josiah of the Justice4Josiah campaign who came to hang with us!
Thanks to everyone who donated! We're so happy we're able to stand with the houseless community and bulid with them!
