-You are Liu Kang's pride and joy, his little dragon, little flame. Everything. And he would anything to protect you and assure you have the best life.
-But your temper and recklessness? it was something he didn't expected. You were such a giggled playful baby, yes, and he knew that fatherhood and you growing up mean you would want to discover the world and learn new things around you. Even taking in interest in training beside your father.
-But he felt like every time he was gonna have a heart attack of how you would walk around dangerous things like nothing as he had to run after you and tell you to be more careful. And it was worse when you would pout angry and cross your arms or being stubborn about it.
-As you keep growing up he trough that you would shape you personality better, but it was the same. Of that didn't change anything about his love for you, but you were a vivid image of how grown up being like a son to Lord Raiden.
-You like to make the same jokes on him, worry him, act like the world was gonna be on your hands and worse when everybody around you said you would be the next chosen one. He always teach you to be humble and never get those things on your head, and you did well on that.
-But listen to your father advice about being cautious, waiting, knowing your enemy before an recklessness attack? no, you didn't and he would sigh or roll his eyes.
-Every time he scold you the image of Lord Raiden came to his mind. His younger self along Lao being a headache for the Lord of thunder always on his mind, and how even they were like sons to him, they were a duo of troublemaker the ex Earthrealmer protector had to keep on check.
-Specially at how Liu Kang always tried to be the hero as he knew being the chosen one has it's responsibilities, but he was stubborn as hell too, even when Lord Raiden tried to explain to him to keep himself on check.

You were training hard everyday, you even were learning to control fire like your father, and you knew the title on your head. You wanted to protect your home, and being Lord Liu Kang's daughter mean a big responsibility and a great future if you could learn better about your power
But you father? he always spoke about taking things slow and calmly, there was no rush even if you knew the dangers around earthrealm right now.
You two were training as he were teaching you some simple moves, but you wanted more! you knew you can do ore than this. And you knew he know it too.
"I do wanna try your cycle kick!! pleaseeeeeee" You begged with a smile, the one your father could never said no, but he did shaking his head gently.
"Little Flame, that's something for the future" He explained calmly as you rolled your eyes, which he took note of that, and cross your arms.

You said stubborn and frustrated as you huffed and walked past your father, probably going to learn new moves yourself. What he knew could end too bad.
The last part you said was almost exactly what he said to Raiden too many times as he grow up, how he needed to be stronger for his friends and family, and his home, how he wanted to be sure he could be the one to lean a hand to who needed.
As you walked past him with the same angry pout and face he used to do as Raiden denied him something or acted stubborn about, he could only close his eyes and sigh.
"For the Elder Gods.." As that he turned back to follow you before you could hurt yourself trying any reckless movement.

-If thing got more high than just the everyday with you, he would take you to talk on the garden or looking at the horizon to explain why he was like that with you, and he understand if you see him as strict, He always saw Lord Raiden as a authority figure, even as he was like a parental figure too.
-He would let you had your way but if you promised to be more careful with yourself saying how hurtful it would be seeing your in danger or in pain, or thinking he didn't do enough for you.
-As you hugged him promising to take things more serious and to understand your father point of view, you also promised to be a hero like him and to make him so proud of the daughter he has.
-"My little Dragon" He hold the back of your had close to his chest hugging you to secure you as he always did to know he could protect you "You always make me so proud no matter what, never doubt it, please".
first of all, i haven't read these books in years and there are many things i don't remember 😭 i only know that i loved it so much when i read it and it meant everything to me for a while and i haven't yet read anything that made me feel that way.
1. i know its going to sound basic but Alex and Conner...i mean the main chatacters for a reason
2. THE MASKED MAN I HATED HIM SO MUCH....and... i don't hate this character but i do find her soooo boring: Bree
3. A Grimm Warning is the best one!!! And the worst is the 4th book. It's not bad but it had some boring parts and the plot it was like mmm meh
4. Tbh i don't ship anything in these books. i mean i like Red x Froggy, and Alex x Arthur the most, but there isn't a couple that makes me go "OMG MY OTP"
5. One that i remember right now is when Alex and Conner are walking along the yellow road and Alex gets happy to which Conner says "There she is" 🥺
6. A LOTTT i think i cried more than i should have for a children's book lol. the one that made me cried the most is Alex meeting her dad again in the final book
