Dreams May Come
ywyihwaâ:
âhrm, okay.â yihwa frowns, not intending to let go of hyunseoâs hand anytime soon. if anything, she squeezes tighter, chuckling quietly at how unorthodox her friendâs train of thought sounds out loud. not because itâs pathetic or ridiculous or anything in that nature. she takes a minute to let the energy of it sink in so she can have a better word for it, clicking her tongue in the meantime to interrupt the silence. âi mean, what exactly was i doing for you to come to that conclusion?â her brows knit in concern, mouth straight as she studies the otherâs face, allowing the silence to linger with them in this space.
âi donât have to be,â she reassures, belatedly. minutes prior, sheâd been absorbing hyunseoâs words for their worth, the accompanying mindset of words only mean something if you want them to fighting to exist louder, almost to the point of her thinking aloud herself. her breathâs a bit shaky when she inhales, the exhale & co. being, âi mean, youâre weird and all but who says thatâs not something to stay for?â backing it up with a lighthearted laugh, yihwa leans into her friendâs side and opts for clinging to her arm, head resting on her shoulder. âgod knows i am, too.âÂ
they fit this way. behind closed eyes, thereâs a daydream where it lasts.
She figures it was as silly as it sounded, to think that there was some truth to the dream that one of her longtime friends actually secretly hates her, as they were spending time together. An example from the dream was asked for and she knows what she has isnât exactly concrete.  âIt was mostly the feeling, you just seemed... different. Iâd try talking to you, but youâd give me these awful looks, like you couldnât stand to be around me anymore.â It was honestly a bit distressing to even think about, it hurt that even Dream Yihwa would think that poorly of her.Â
âPlease donât be.â The words came out quietly, as though she was still worried that the dream might have been partially true, maybe even partially pleading with her friend over something that hasnât even manifested itself. Yihwa calling her weird brought a smile to her face, as she did know that the other doesnât mean anything harmful by it, more something affectionate, a term of endearment between friends. As Yihwaâs head rests on her shoulder, Hyunseo lets her own softly rest on top of it.  âI wouldnât change you if I could. I like you just the way you are.â Â
