#that's my ML
it's baek ah jin hours, all day every day
an AU where Jaeoh kills Ahjin's dad, Ahjin gets to go to study law like she originally planned to, and then she makes connections in university to help Jaeoh get out early and--
I'm still thinking about this after many days and likeeee if Jaeoh was gonna off himself anyway then why didn't he just try to assassinate Dohyuk instead? Like I'm sure he could've gotten close enough to him to do some real damage. It's not like Dohyuk was cooped up in his mansion all the time. He was a well-known public figure, making appearances often. What was the POINT??????????????????????

Our Unwritten Seoul 미지의 서울 (2025) Dir. Park Shin Woo – Ep. 4
Tbh Moon River is losing me with the soul swap bit. On the one hand the many trope subversions is great but I just can’t get behind the whole, they still lust for each other when in each other’s bodies. Like if it were me and a guy was stuck in my body, and doing ALL the embarrassing things that would take me time to even feel comfortable acknowledging in a relationship let alone a crush, and I’d still want to fuck him when he’s in my body? All the romantic mystery would’ve been shot dead at the start.
But even this funny thing aside, I think the story would’ve been fine the way it was without any of the fantasy elements. Or just the samsin and the flowers and the poisonous bird. The soul swap was the thing that tipped the scales for me. Also the bits when they see each other in their original bodies for the romantic scenes while they’re still in each other’s bodies is so confusing. If this is gonna be a thing for the entire series I don’t know if I’ll enjoy this series until the end. It’s getting old rather quickly
I agreeee. I think there's a way to develop that concept (of them being in each other's bodies) and still make it appealing (and maybe even kinda freaky deaky 😏) but they didn't even have a conversation about it and just carried on business as usual, as if it feels natural to be romantically gazing upon your self or be kissing your own face! I would've liked some awkwardness or some more of the character's observations about how it feels to be in such a predicament, y'know something to ease it in. But alas
I also thought the bits where the showed them as they actually were even while swapped kinda made the whole swapping pointless? Like if we're just going to show the characters in their actual bodies then what are we doing
AND ANOTHER THING, at the point Ah Jin was reaching the peak of her career, her most proud moment, that's when Jun Seo decided to release that dumbass documentary??? (Which, I'm not even gonna touch on the fact that his success is built on tales of her life AND is also due to her keeping the secret about his biological father.) Even after he saw the state she was in and even after Jae Oh told him that she seemed unstable and she was being harmed by Do Hyuk, he did THAT??? Out here talking about putting a stop to her, I have to laugh. Like broski a stop to WHAT??? She's literally being victimized right now, she barely knows where she is half the time. And she's BEEN being victimized the whole show. Do nawt piss me offfffff aaaaaaaaa
I think, simply, if the writers wanted us to feel bad for Jun Seo, they needed to have made Ah Jin way, way more malicious. They should have made us feel RELIEF when Jun Seo was "putting a stop to her". It falls flat for him to put on this whole show about how awful she is when she is actively being poisoned by her psycho husband and keeps having mental breakdowns. Sigh.
help this ending episode feels like im being ragebaited 😭 I'm genuinely so fkn mad aaaaaa. I hate Jun Seo so much bro, I really thought his ass was destined to be a tragic ML, and he just pissed me tf off.
And Kim Jae Oh, don't even get me started on Jae Oh. They massacred my fkn boyyyy 😭😭😭😭. In my mind he showed up in his motorcycle and he and Ah Jin are living a normal life together. I simply will not accept anything else. The only saving grace of that ending was that Ah Jin, despite the wounds, despite the betrayal, despite all the misfortune, DESPITE IT ALL, continued to have such a persistent and dogged determination to live. She is my goat, I don't CARE what she did I support her rights and her wrongs 🥀🥀🥀🥀
i miss whale couple
a character basically going “i’ll fuck you so good you’ll never be able to forget it” in an sbs kdrama was not on my 2022 bingo list
finally finished move to heaven after putting it off bc i didnt want it to end and i demand a second season. i needa see more cho sang gu ear blushing <3 <3 (and sooyoung too she’s a queen i didnt even know she’d be in this drama, and the fact they have a lil romance going on *chefs kiss*). yknow what, this drama gives me the same vibes as here’s my plan. like they both handle these very heavy and serious topics but the emphasis of it all is on healing and kindness and ughh they both do such a good job of keeping things entertaining but still realistic enough. my only pet peeve was discovering that CTE/punch drunk syndrome can only be definitely diagnosed during autopsy (but thats just a minor thing lol, also apparently 99% of NFL players have had cte thats so fucked????). anyway, idk how many times i cried or teared up while watching this, its such a good drama and there’s so much to be explored. also the ending kinda left me feeling like there was a romantic implication with han geu ru and that girl??? very inchresting,,,
if you need a reason to watch move to heaven
Love me. If it’s at all possible, please love me. I think that wouldn’t be such a bad idea.
HERE'S MY PLAN (2021)
here’s my plan is an excellent drama so far,,,, main lead is a whole queen w/ dubious morals, the music goes so hard (lots of gr8 rock music???),, and its just so well shot it feels c i n e m a t i c ,, cant believe it’s only gonna be 4 episodes. ugh highly recommended
im watching the heirs (or the inheritors idk what the preferred title is) and wow im really shipping Cha Eun Sang with the absolute psychopath this is Choi Young Do??? I wouldnt have expected this from me at All. tbh both he and Kim Tan are toxique as all hell but at least Choi Young Do has the edge of being a whole freak and that’s probably why i like him, like at least he’s not boring lmao?? n e way i forget how problematic some of these early 2010s kdramas are--all the wrist-grabbing makes me want to kill a man, and the nonconsensual kissing, and the Stalking as Romance trope. like they really put Kim Tan spying on Cha Eun Sang every chance he got,, homeboi was lit rally using his home security cameras, logged into her social media, following her home, hiding in the wine room without her knowing, showing up to her work unannounced, i-
