The way Zach saw it, he had two options. He could be a dick about this and just leave, he did have enough money to move out again but there was a reason he hadn’t done that. He liked being with his siblings and being back home. Honestly his father had never made a real approach to him like this before so he never considered the other option. Getting over his resentment and trying to better their relationship. “Why now?”

Zach couldn’t control the laugh that erupted out of him. Their relationship he thought in disgust. “Don’t you think that’s pretty shot to hell?” He asked letting his laughter die down. “Or are you trying to go through the steps again? Making Amends?”
