- Favorite music genres are death metal, hard rock, and nu metal. Favorite bands are Three Days Grace, Seether, and Cannibal Corpse

Regarding my last post: This is what I mean by how I interpret Reynauld. He's an old scruffy and chunky dog who is "past his prime", at least to me 🤷

I really liked how Reynauld looked unmasked in dd1 in that one promotional artwork which was basically his pre-dd1 concept (who was named Lincoln btw).

So, I basically blend the two designs to achieve what I envision alongside other hcs of mine. I keep the general scruffiness and older appearance from Lincoln and keep the brown hair (+ my addition of grey hairs cuz I see him being 45) and rounder facial features of dd2 hero origin Reynauld.

I'd love to hear about their dynamic and/or any headcanons you have surrounding them, so I could understand them better 🙇

Tbh, my thoughts on these two go back and fourth so often but these are my current thoughts on their dynamic

(Somewhat Damian focused since I feel like I have a better grasp on his character than Sarmenti. Apologies 😔)

Sarmenti enjoys the enrichment they get from each other but does not like Damian touching him especially if it’s in a more romantic way

Damian doesn’t care for Sarmenti’s jokes at all, but enjoys the other parts of shows he puts on. He likes the music as well

I can’t personally see them becoming close emotionally. I prefer seeing their relationship as more transactional. Sarmenti is often under-stimulated and Damian prefers the pain others can bring him over doing it himself. They both fulfill this need for each other

Damian irritates Sarmenti to no end, yet he’s still found himself attached in a way

Damian would be weird about Sarmenti’s missing finger and seeing a type of martyrdom in the act where there was none. It is incredibly off putting to Sarmenti. Damian is everything that Sarmenti hates interacting with, yet for reasons he can’t understand he keeps coming back

If I were to explore a more romantic dynamic between them, I could easily see Damian being a bit too high energy for Sarmenti to deal with. He prefers to limit romantic gestures to when Damian is asleep and more docile.
