She ALWAYS hides behind him it's pretty fucking cute imo. And Shinichi's already used to it, just expecting her to hide and shields her no question asks.

Ayumi always seems to be doing boyish stuff, so, if she wants to make something girly they try to be supportive (let the little girl like girly stuff!) so, watching extra pink movies like Barbie becomes a must if she ask! (In special the old 3d ones!)
Of course Haibara investigate the content before watching anything, and only when she gives a green light they go and watch without problems.
Sometimes they wonder if is a little pointless because the kids had seen worse things in real life, but hey, they do what they can.
