As the oldest, Leo often didn’t exactly go around sharing everything that was going on in his head, but that didn’t mean Seb wouldn’t gently pry, just in case something was wrong.

🛡️ Being put on the spot was another thing he was severely unused to. Sebastian always had a way to pick up and pull out on these kind of things; he half imagined that that was partly his fault.

Instead of letting it be acknowledged at the moment, though, Leonardo just nodded. “I’m fine. Just tired, I promise.” He even added a sympathetic smile in a poor attempt to divert the conversation.

“Six hours? I hope you really mean six seconds.” But that doesn’t stop Seb from reaching out to his brother with his good arm. Seb sighs and tries to pull him closer, holding them there and counting silently in his head. Of course he wasn’t actually going to make it just a six second hug, but it definitely wasn’t going to be an hours long ordeal.

🛡️ “I’ll take whatever I can get.” Leo always felt a little out of place being the recipient of affection, so used to being the comforter instead of the comforted. Old habits die hard, but even a small hug made him feel leagues better. Grounded him a little more, like he’d just come home from a long journey away. He wrapped an arm around Seb’s good side, avoiding the broken arm.
