The day had been like most others-simple. Esperanza despised how dry things had been in her life. She didnât thrive well falling into a cycle of mundane life. She even started becoming bored with the contracts she was taking on. After being lost in thought for a while, someone walked by her table. The cafe had been a personal favorite spot of hers. The stranger had something about them that intrigued the young demigoddess. For a little fun, she willed a breeze to kick up around the little patio. âSome weather, huh?â she called out to the other with a little smirk.Â
Zach wasnât in the mood to talk to anyone. He wanted to sit down, read a book, and just be left to his old thoughs. However, that all seemed to change when a breeze, a bit suspicious (that he quickly shrugged away - he didnât have the time for conspiracies at the moment), brushed up against his bare ankles, shufling the fallen leaves around him. He heard a voice and looked over his shoulder, eyes narrowing behind blonde eyelashes. âI guess. Itâs just wind, I wouldnât cont that as something partucularly eventful in terms of weather.â
