Reader had sped walked into Wades apartment whomed he shared with Logan and Al, yet the two wasn't there when you came home. Logan and Wade were like dads or brothers too you, but yet you didn't want either to worry or see you upset so you walked right by Wade to the room you slept in... you felt like the odd one out of the three Logan, Wade, and ole blind Al they felt so far away especially after how the romantic partner you had, had already put you down for the last time. Wade knew reader was going out with someone, of course you never let the two of them meet because of how controlling and upset your partner could get when they weren't too happy. Reader just lays on their bed when there is a soft knock followed by wades voice, "Hey (y/n) you looked upset when you came in.. are you ok?". You don't respond to Wade, which makes him worry even more because he knew silence from reader was a bad thing as you had a bit of a past when you don't answer could mean one of two answers... first one, the one Wade practically begged any existing god that it was, he hoped with all his body mind heart and soul that it was just you silently crying and for the second thing you would do was Self harm, Reader had finally been a year clean yet wade was still scared as there's still possibilities to relapse, so he did one of the more responsible things first he called Logan and Al home from the bar to talk to them and talk Logan into forcing the door open if absolutely necessary... So, Wade tries again to coax reader out of the room, saying: "Please don't shut me out, little pool... Me Logan and Blind Al are here" He got no answer again, but your crying got just loud enough for Logan to hear so he steps up to the door "Are you crying? Thats it we're coming in.." There was a strange softness to this rough and stern man, but yet you dint seem to mind, it was better that you weren't alone after what you heard from your partner, what they told you had reached a new level of hurt the sound of the once locked door kicked down by Logan had snapped you from your thoughts. Wade came running over first as he couldn't help but worry so much you were his kid; I mean him and Al did take you in as a teen and helped you to navigate this world you had been thrown and abandoned in, yet you were free from the abusively drunken father of yours yet you seem to have been attracted to people similar to your sperm donor of a bio father who didn't deserve you as his kid as you deserved the world and more and that was what Wade, blind Al and Logan aimed to give you what they could. Wade could only hold you... Logan's voice breaks the silence "I want names, I want addresses. no one gets to hurt you". It was like he just knew deep down it was someone close to reader given your current state all you had to do was look at the picture of you and your partner and off he went to find them to teach them a lesson for messing with you, he never would admit it but you, Wade and Al were his biggest weakness, he wasn't about to let someone else be mean to you then himself, though he did it as he learned not to get attached yet he already was but he tried to drown it out, failing miserably when he seen Readers tear stained face. Wade kept repeating the same few lines of 'Just breathe, your safe' 'Let Logan and I deal with this dipshit who can't get their head out of their ass long enough to make them realize they was messing up the wrong person' and he chanted words of praise and compliments hopping he could undo what that ass hole did, Wade said "I won't leave you no matter how much you push me away nor will I turn my back on you.." there was a brief pause as he was considering his next words carefully... "Your like my kid-.. no, you are my kid" which made you cry harder hugging him back finally as his words made you feel the fatherly love you never got, you felt safe with him and Logan... you finally belong somewhere and was wanted... you never went back to that partner an gave your best for a second chance with a family that actually loved and protected you..
