A day of stringin’ clips along! Going back and reviewing footage from the #kilimanjaro trek this past February w/ @flowfold has me wanting to go back and #summit again! Such a beautiful culture and landscape.

Saturday was a tasty #photography day! Had a wonderful time trekking through #portland w/ @mainefoodforthought. One of our stops was @scalesrestaurantportland where Chef Frederic Eliot (@ffeliot) treated us to #mussels from @bangsislandmussels (at Scales Restaurant)

Was reminded recently of a few shots I did for @streetchopper before the snow began to descend on #portland. I’ve shot plenty of products through my career, but this was my first #chopper. Bike design and build by @forevertwowheelsmaine (at Portland, Maine)

Had the pleasure of working with @knitervention for an upcoming sangria recipe book from @cidermillpress over the weekend. Looking forward to working with Cider Mill Press again, hopefully in the very near future!

Here’s an #outtake from a shoot with Gross Confection Bar. Brant’s version of brown butter “Spanish bar Cake”, w/ apple jam, cream cheese mousse, coconut sorbet, fennel seed tuile. Later came the pomegranate jus. Check out @grossaleares or @grossconfectionbar for the final plated dish!

My son and I have a new weekly endeavor: to find the best donut in Maine! This was our bounty from @hifidonutsportland. Churro, chai vanilla, and calico. I’m leaning towards the calico, while my son is a churro fan. (at HiFi Donuts)

Stayed at the Whittier Motel in Ipswich, MA while shooting a series of tourist attractions throughout New England for a book that came out a few years back. The best shot from the whole trip came out of not being able to sleep and loving the vintage style of the Whittier’s neon sign. Wouldn’t mind tracking down a few more great neon signs in New England should anyone have any recommendations on where to find them. Always up for a road trip!

Starting to plan my New Year’s adventure! Thinking another South American country, since my last trip to #Chile was so wonderful. Taking a glance back through my shots from #patagonia have me hooked on exploring more of the dynamic landscapes South America has to offer. Open to any suggestions fellow #travelers care to share!
