Cassie broke the kiss. “Why I don’t know what you mean Mr. Wilmer.” She said playing dumb. She then kissed him on the nose and skipped towards the house.
"Hey!" Zackery ran after Cassie just as a car pulled into the driveway. "Come back here Miss Ryan."
"Now I know what needs to be done around here to get cocoa." Madeline flashed a pleased smile, licking her lips at the sudden thought of cocoa. "Well, if you keep offering cocoa, I may reconsider, depending on the spell."
"Such extremes aren’t necessary. You just need to ask or buy some yourself?" He suggested. "No it’s alright. I’ve tortured you enough. Lets go get you that cocoa."
Patrick chuckled and led the way, his broom slung over his shoulder. “Well, hopefully we get a few more people joining because best or not, we won’t be able to play with 4 people.”
"I'm sure more people will join. I mean, half the kids in Gryffindor love Quidditch. Right?" Zackery asked but then shrugged it off. "Of course they do. Anyway, we'll be all ready to have our first match. Who do you think we'll play first?"
"I can practically smell the patriotism from here." Amelia grinned as he leaped up and took a gulp of her drink. "It feels like the summer."
"I'm scared someone will chase me out of here with a pitchfork or something." Zackery looked around and was glad no one was watching. "It really does. You should have told me to bring my swimming trunks."
"Now, isn’t this much better than rainy old England? I told you it was a good idea to trust me."
"England!" Zackery jumped out of his chair and punched the air. "Yeah, this is." He said, sitting down.
"Don’t copy me!" She laughed. "What we can’t kiss in public?" She smirked and kissed him again, this time on the lips.
"Do you want to play that game, Miss. Ryan?" Zackery smirked at Cassie. Zackery shook her head while he kissed Cassie back. A small smile formed on his lips.
"Happens to me all the time, mate. I think our minds are conspiring against us, really. I guess rambling can’t be all bad, at least not ‘til you get hungry. How about a milkshake?"
"Do you think the illuminate is really our minds? I mean, if we dream imagine how more fucked up we could be. Rambling is always bad. You end up offending someone... Or confusing yourself more. -Please?"
"Aw boohoo." Cassie laughed as Zackery pulled her into a hug. “I could think of a few things.” She said and kissed him on the cheek.
"Boohoo." Zackery mimicked her even though she was making fun of him. "Remember we're in public." Zackery smirked then planted a kiss on her nose.
Shrugging softly, she smiles along when he laughs bitterly. “I’ve seen my friends go through it, I’ve learned from them and retained it and thankfully it’s helpful to someone,” she smiles, “Zack, I would never advise you to raise a voice at a lady. Plus something is obviously the matter with her and who knows if it involves a male figure in her life raising her voice at her,” Fiona said, ” If you’re going to give your relationship a second shot, really take care with the details.” She rests her hand on his shoulder to calm him a bit, “now you’re being too nice, that’s so not the case.” she laughed, her head back a bit.
"Ah. Blind love advice. Wait would it be blind or not? I mean, technically you have experience. Right?" Zack turned toward her. He looked away again and nodded. He didn't know how to respond to her. Nothing made sense anymore. Well, at least not when it came to Cassie. Although she was worth the struggle. "I don't mean to but I guess I never figured out how to control my voice." He looked at her again this time smiling. "I'm not being nice. I'm being kind. You deserve all the kindness." Zackery laughed along with Fiona.
Cassie smiled at Zackery as he called the people who where selling the house. She couldn’t help but laugh when he said fiance. “I don’t know? What do you want to do?”
"I can't think of everything." Zackery made another of his childish voices. He pulled Cassie into a hug, holding her by her waist. "What's the first thing that comes to mind?"
"I’m not really sure. But I think the brain beats everything, I mean if you can have a good mindset then everything seems brighter. Y’know I’m picturing muggles play and it’s more funny than anything. Just think, they can’t fly so they’d just be running around. You’re the one lying to yourself, if paying for somebody else’s food is considered a big deal than that’s a terrible thing."
"Just because you may see the world brighter doesn't mean it actually is brighter... that was too sad. Puppies!" Zackery yelled out to cheer himself up. "Anyway, it does sound like would be funny! They can't even fly! No I'm not. I just believe in paying your debts. You know?"
"Oh yeah, I agree with you on that. The brain can definitely be the biggest jerk. But Quidditch is most definitely the greatest thing it made." Jack smiled. "Alright, if you say so. But it’s really not that big of a deal."
"I think the brain beats the weather. Maybe karma beats weather... It's brain, karma and then weather. Isn't it?! Even muggles should play it honestly. Yes it is. Don't lie to yourself."
"Yeah? I get that sometimes. Maybe it’s a way our brain is telling us not to forget certain things. Y’know, just in case. No problem, don’t worry ‘bout it. I can pay, don’t worry ‘bout it."
"Yes? I don't know. Our brain is just a jerk like everything else about nature. Quidditch is the only thing the world got right though... Nope." Zackery shook his head. "I will worry about it. I'll pay you back or maybe I'll give you my food if you ever want it. Yeah?"
"Oh yeah, I can see that. Sometimes thinking about the past is kind of strange. ‘fraid I don’t have any, but I was thinking about grabbing a sub or something."
"Thinking is always bad. You know that it's a natural thing? Your brain does it for stimulation. That's why you can't fall asleep at night... Mind if I tag along? I can pay you back... I don't know where I left my wallet..."
"Excellent, otherwise I don’t think I’d be able to trust you again." Madeline stated matter-of-factly, a playful grin forming. Shaking her wrists against the now loose rope, she was able to free herself. "No problem, can’t say I will volunteer again, but it was certainly an experience."
"Oh no! That wouldn't be good. You get all the hot cocoa you want!" Zackery extended his arms outwards, representing how much she could have. "That's a shame. Very few people are cool with having a spell tested on them."
"I did," she nodded, biting her lip,"I mean, there’s nothing I understand more than wanting to enjoy yourself, but to, putting it a bit harshly, to babysit." Fiona nodded, "You have to explain that to her, maybe there’s a reason she gets all topsy and drinks at the dances, you never know what’s going on in someone’s head unless you ask, Zack. I feel you, though. But to be fair, you should talk to her. Being in a couple is about communication, mate!" Raising her eyebrows at the compliment, "I couldn’t do it without you, mate, you keep me honest. You’re as fantastic."
"You're right... You'd think after so long we'd have this figured out by now." Zackery let out a bitter laugh. "How are you so... I don't know. You're so smart and you're as old as me... I guess I'll try the talking thing. But what do I do if she starts yelling? How do I not yell? This is all too confusing." He rubbed his temples. "I keep you honest? I'm pretty sure everyone would end up with an injury without you. Why was I given this much power?"
