Zack: Yeah, I figured that's why they're not running. I'm not convinced, I know I'm not someone he wants to see right now. Just go see Jay.

Ariel: Fuck, has nobody told you?

Ariel: Don't freak out Jay's okay, I don't know exactly what happened but I do know that he ended up in hospital with a couple of broken bones I think. So I'm going to go to your place to pick some stuff up and probably just spend the night chilling with him. You can come with if you want.

Ariel: I know you're not the biggest fan of a cars but at the moment it will be way safer than walking or catching a bus.

Zack: Oh damn.

Zack: Well Jay isn't my biggest fan right now, so I don't think going with you guys would be a good idea. I'll take my chances with the bus.

“True, by the way did you want anything? I got mostly junk food along with a few healthier choices. I have some soda to.“ Kira told him. She follows him over to the table. “I’m a freshman how about you? Cause otherwise it’ll depend if I know it or not. “

“What do you have? My older sister is like, totally a health person so she doesn't like to have junk food around." He sits in his previous spot,pulling the papers toward him. "You're probably in the same classes as my sister then. I was supposed to be a freshman but I got bumped up to a sophomoore and now I'm kinda tryna' get some of my other credits done so I can graduate early."

“It is a bit weird fr sure.” Kira said. She glances over at him and shakes her head. “I managed to bring snacks and a drinks instead of getting something more fun do to. But I guess I do have a ton of books around here to distract me, if you have something you’d rather do.”

“I think snacks and stuff are more important than entertainment." He starts to walk back to the table. "I mean, what grade are you in? Maybe you could help me with this stuff if you want. It's all like..economics and u.s. history stuff."

“I see.” Kira said. She found it a little odd that an old guy just likes to hang out here by himself. She nods. As another thunder struck she jumps and bumps into him a little. “Sorry. I can never seem to not jump at those.”

“It’s weird but he’s not really too much of a threat. He moves like a turtle.” He shrugs. Zack almost chuckles at her reaction to the thunder, but decides against it. "It's okay, you don't gotta worry about it. Did you bring something to distract you with so you won't notice it? I dunno if what I'm working on will bore you to death or not."
