my (super important) thoughts about the boys finale - spoilers of course

it's definitely not the best one out there, probably not the worst
I know my expectations are my problem, but god, that was so messed up hahaha
i did thought that Homelander will lose all of his powers at the end without his death, it would be so much cooler than him just dying physically - like, he is NOTHING but a superhero, he doesn't have anything else besides it - so without his powers he already would be dead in a way, eh?
but they killed him anyway, rip my favorite crazy blonde
Tho, it ways so weird that they nerfed the hell outta guy, he is flying slower than he ever did even tho he now was super-super powers, yet somehow cannot outfly Butcher and Ryan neither slice Kimiko in half like he did before the old V??? that's just so lame bruh
i kinda liked his whole begging scene and all, unusual to see Homie all pathetic like that and i kinda wish they would just leave him as is - all alone and powerless, pretty fair punishment if i say so myself
but still - all season was about both the virus and the old compound v - just for non of it matter at the end, cause they just speedrunned turning Kimiko into Soldier Boy 2.0
also the hell happened with Butcher's cancer? i honestly thought that he'll die of it right after finishing Homelander, but now, he is as healthy as a horse for some reason
the weirdest thing for me is for Hughie to name his kid Robin, duuuude the hell.... that's just so weird
still, i expected it to be way worse. was it horrible? nah. was it good? nah
it's mediocre actually, could be done 10 times better
It's pretty sad it's over, i really liked this series and especially Homelander as a character - good that they ended it instead of per se turning this show into an endless conveyor - but still, sad.
