If we censor everything does it not benefit every shady thing by allowing it a space to exist beyond the public conscious? Sex isn’t natively bad, but if there’s a version of it that you don’t like talking about, shouldn’t it be talked about? Not shied away from, thus allowing to exist in this wrong, warped state because addressing the part that makes you uncomfortable doesn’t make you feel good? The same with drugs, gambling, all of it. Not allowing the problem to be fully understood doesn’t seem to benefit anyone, or anything but the problem itself.
