“You realize I’m the exact antithesis of that, right? If anything, I’ll be that angel on your shoulder telling you to get them all while stealing some for myself.” A bit of a stretch, but her love of felines was vast enough to be almost believable. “That’s right~. I know some big words.” Playfully boasting while then getting to her feet. “Just let me get my shoes on and bundle up, first so we can face the cold.”

“But she has black and white hair. And I love villains,” the older sister smiled, giving a shrug as she knelt down to give attention to the other two cats. “You do know that we will never agree, right? I’m pretty sure that’s why our parents named our pets instead of us. What about Hook? Like for Captain Hook?” She looked up at her sister.

“And he’s a boy.” She pointed out with a giggle. Sitting down onto a chair of her’s and making sure the fur would get as dry as possible. “Well, I mean, we’ve only had three but yeah...” It was hard to recall details with the occupation of tending to this poor creature. “I like Hook but I also want him to fit in with Tifa and Cloud. Maybe I should give him a Final Fantasy name, too?”

“Yeah, it’s really lovely, it’s so,” they turn their head, considering the word, “Delicate? I mean, an excellent choice of thievery, I must say,” they laugh lightly, “I mean, if you’re going to steal something, steal something pretty.”

“Thank you.” She smiled again. Glancing to the jeweled metallic and turning one for both of them to view. “It’s a little weird, because they’re considered wedding bracelets, but-- Yolo. I was just feeling like I needed a pop of color.”

“So I’ve decided to do it. Colt is almost two, I’ve settled into a good routine, I know when I’m going to be gone for the weekend.. I’m finally going to get a kitten for my place. Do you want to help me pick one out at the shelter? I feel like this isn’t something that you just do on your own.”

“Finally! Let’s get our butts in gear and get you a little fluffy child.” Without further delay, she hooked an arm with the other to pull her along. Her other waving out to hail for a taxi. “Do you want a specific cat or are you waiting to see who steals your heart?”

men who try to shame women for liking calming games like animal crossing or minecraft or whatever are so pitiful. like maybe if u planted some virtual flowers to some calming music for a few hours u wouldnt be such a lil bitch

“Um.. I guess.” Isabelle laughed and took a long sip of her own drink. “Well an okay time is just fine with me. It has been a long time since I even had one of those. Why don’t we do this more often?”

“generally, because I don’t like much public interactions. That’s my excuse anyways.” Another soft laugh left her as her hand placed over her chest. “Maybe we could do like a bi-weekly thing? We’re both so busy and all that seems doable. Just go out and have a drink or do something chill to unwind.”

what do you wish you were better at?

“Probably socializing as a whole. It hinders me from wanting to do a lot of things.”

If you could have any job, what would you be?

“I– don’t really know? I guess the usual dream jobs of model or something. I always thought it’d be cool to have something going on like Anne Hathaway in The Devil Wears Prada, but, then again I probably would kill myself with how stressful it is.”

As the other approaches behind them in the line at the coffee shop, they turn towards the other, “Oh my god,” they pause, “I love this,” they say, gesturing towards something on their person, “Where’d you get it? Is it handmade?”

Thinking nothing of, the woman queued in line and raised up her hand, exposing her wrist with her coat sleeve sunken down while she fiddled with a piece of stubborn hair when the person in front of her gave a touching comment towards the jewelry she was sporting. “This?” Indicating with her other hand pointing to the gold pair. “Uh, I’m not sure? This was my mom’s, actually. I kind of stole it the other day. Pfff. Pretty, huh?”

Long legs helped to free her of the material. Giving the man a soft hum of agreement while her fingers moved to curl into the hair on the back of his head and bring his face closer to at least reward him with a promising kiss for a later return as he gave in to her own desires. Those intruding digits starting to make her squirm in place as those sensitive walls were stroked to bring about that wantoned heat to start coursing through her veins. Mumbling through the stirring sensations, “You got a deal.”

Anya paused. “Um….actually…I’ve been considering going to the shelter to find one….maybe you could come with me?”

“As if I could say no!” She exclaimed with a squeak of delight that was written all over her face. Arms hugging her bestie as she shimmied from the happiness at such good news. “Oh my God! When should we go? This needs to happen, like, yesterday!”

Zelda grinned, hearing the woman speak about the video game. She didn’t have anything the play video games on, just a small tv in the corner of her studio. No consoles, no nothing. But that didn’t matter. Hearing someone else’s passion on the subject was lovely- it almost made Zelda ask more. She figured she’d hear other little bits of passion spill out, anyhow. She’d wait to see it come out naturally. “Just a pair of nerds! I love that. Say, would you like to see some of the animals? It’s surely cold today but I’m sure seeing some of the little ones will warm us right up!”

The time had come. Walking about and Zahra was feeling anxiety in the form of the cold biting air awaiting to completely surround them. Someone definitely wanted her to get disgustingly sick and she bit her lip with that innate need to refuse and beg for coverage into some movie theater, coffee shop, anything but outside here. On any tepid day, that answer would change. Pulling up what will power she had, she sucked in a deep breath as subtly as she could managed and nods her head- “Y-yeah... Yeah.. Maybe a few before we turn into snowpeople... Couldn’t hurt to try, right?” Trying to convince herself more than anything.

“I guess it’s a good way to to put yourself to sleep if you aren’t able to on your own.” Isabelle chuckled, clinking her glass against Zahra’s, “To a good night. Thank you for coming out with me tonight.”

“Hey, it’s cheaper than sleep meds, right?” The woman snorted rather ungracefully. “Absolutely. You know I’m here to entertain and help you unwind. I usually don’t go out but when I do, it’s an okay time, heh.”

“Come on,” she smiled as she wrapped her arms around the younger woman, even though she was holding the cat as well. “I love you, little Z.” Pulling away, Navya thought for a moment as she furrowed her brows. My first thought when I see him is Cruella, but he’s a boy, so I don’t really have a good idea. What about Mufasa from Lion King? I see him as having a strong name since he survived this horrible weather. And he seems like he would be king material.”

Under her sister’s pull, the younger left the bathroom with a laugh in her throat. “Okay, first of all Cruella hates, like, all animals, right?” Posing the question with a tilt of her head. Her two jealous babies getting almost tangled around their feet. Luckily, she was mindful of that only to have a quick misstep but not enough to fall or cause any embarrassing damage. “Off-- Ugh.. Mufasa?” Trying to keep on topic. “I don’t know... He does have a kingly quality but I thought lion names were reserved better for lionesque looking kitties.”
