zander groaned softly, rolling over to bury his face in his pillow. “we have an agreement, babe. no presents til’ the sun’s out. conveniently, i don’t see the sun. it’s pitch black.” he hummed, shaking his head. slowly, his head turned to face the other, one eye peaking open. “but i guess we can open one…”

zander held the scarf in his hands, features disappointed as he looked over at the other. “well, i was going to share a scarf, but someone doesn’t want to. you do realize it’ll keep the both of us warm, right?”

Taking a sip of her martini, Roxanne looked around the room whilst sitting on her bar stool, one arm resting on top of the bar. Putting her glass down with her other hand, she tilted her head to the side and turned her body around so that she was facing the person sitting next to her. “You know, I get that it’s cold and what not, but don’t people get that you’re supposed to take your toques off when you’re inside? Like, I’m not usually one for these types of things, and I lowkey feel nauseous about the fact that it bothers me, but… What the actual fuck.”

zander’s fingers mindlessly tapped against the glass in one hand as he turned to listen to the other. he couldn't help the small chuckle that slipped past his lips with a small shake of his head. “it’s fashion, roxanne. either that or this small town is about to become a small commune of hipsters.” the male teased. “it’s not very classy though, i will give you that.”

biography

zander grew up with his mother, father, and two brothers in montreal up until zander’s tenth birthday. his father finally decided the time had come that he finally open up his own business to share with the world instead of keeping it as a small hobby on the side. his father was a carpenter and zander really looked up to him and loved the idea of doing the same someday. 

the family packed up and moved to ellingham, settling down quickly. 

zander had always been a quiet kid, but the move really caused the male to close himself off even more. 

after a while, the male began to adapt to his environment and he felt that if he didn’t adapt his own personality, he would never make friends or move on in life. and so, the people-pleasing stage began. 

there were a few friends who could see through the act and actually got to know the real guy behind the facade. 

as the years went on, the male slowly but surely started to become more like himself, not really caring what others thought. he was a dorky, but caring guy. he is very level-headed for the most part, but he can get very stubborn at times. he gets it from his father. 

he married his high-school sweetheart, but the two divorced after the marriage completely fell apart. 

now, the male is working as a carpenter/custom furniture builder. he loves what he does and can make just about anything.
