The week in DC comics June 1st 2016 Superman Rebirth 1 I don't read a lot of Superman stories so I don't know how to really rate it but it was a fun read. I don't know where this other superman came from but he seems like a cool guy. There were only a few characters in this books and I think that was a good way to explain kinda what's going on with the Super-Family. Green Lanterns Rebirth 1 Geoff Johns is back at it again with another killer story. Jessica Cruz is brining new blood to the lantern books and seeing Hal interact with these lanterns being the parent to both was awesome. The ending had my jaw dropped on the ground. Green Lantern Animated series for the win! Batman Rebirth 1 I don't know what to really think about this comic. We have a new "sidekick" for Batman but he's not a Robin? I enjoyed reading it like I'd enjoy reading any halfway decent book but this story really didn't reach out and grab me like the Green Lanterns book. Time will tell. Green Arrow Rebirth 1 Finally a true Green Arrow. This comic takes elements from all the past incarnations of Green Arrow and puts all the good ones into this Oliver Queen. I thought it was interesting how with this new book we see Oliver and Dinah's relationship start from the beginning. It's a great way for readers to get to know their personalities. Another thing I wanted to bring up is Green Arrow doesn't seem to be one of the biggest characters for the DC universe so I wonder why he is in the first week of Rebirth. Let me know your thoughts
Identity Crisis Graphic Novel Review I stated reading this comic because I had been reading a lot of stand alone comics lately and I wanted more of a team book. In specific The Justice league. When I started reading this I got more than just a Justice League story. I got a murder mystery story showing what death and the unexpected can do to the most powerful beings alive. The books starts very emotional even with the "dedications" section in the beginning. This book revolves around trying to find the killer of Sue Dibny, wife of Elongated man. Throughout this book I got to see the League as what they truly are. A family. When there is a death in the family people are shaken and the same goes for our heroes. When you think of the Justice League you think of strength and power but what we really see in this book is the power of unity. Everyone not just the league is helping to find who murdered their friend. The whole DC universe was on this man hunt. I think Green Arrow was a perfect character to narrate most of this because he is one of the most grounded members of the DC universe and the audience is most likely to identify with him more than anyone. Brad Meltzer brings his amazing author skills with him to this novel. Like I said there were things in here that made me think I was reading a murder mystery novel but he keeps it in the superhero realm. I had read about 25% of the book the first day then the next day when I picked it up for the second time I didn't put it down until I was done. It was 2 straight hours of reading an amazing story. This was an amazing piece of work.

THE WALKING DEAD 130 REVIEW Wow is all I have to say. This was one of my favorite TWD books ever. One of the best parts is that Rick is now a god like being to some of the people. I love the writing and the art. The big part of this book comes on the very last page where it is revealed that the walkers can now TALK! This book is for the more experienced readers of The Walking Dead comic. So I would highly recommended this book to any walking dead fan. All in All I give it a 9.5/10. I can't wait to read next months issue!
