After their debut concept failed, the girls went on a long hiatus and came back with a new mature image, showing they can pull it off better than their cute concept!

The music video is simple for the song. Beginning with an aesthetic scene and instead of having a storyline or that many individual shots, the girls are showing the full dance, using chairs as props to show their upgraded dancing skills. Indeed, the image change seemed to help the girls because as soon as the MV dropped, it gained lots of views and many people seem to talk about it.

IT’S BEEN A YEAR SINCE AVID’S CHAEYEONG MADE HER SOLO DEBUT!

On May 8th, 2016, AVID’s main vocalist turned from a rocket girl to a soloist. It’s been exactly a year since Chaeyeong made her solo debut, showed a difference between her and her group while AVID was on hiatus. Instead of making her debut with a cute concept or sexy concept, she made her debut with a ballad, showcasing her vocals which we weren’t able to hear in her group’s debut song and with those vocals, she gained new fans and now, she’s known as AVID’s member and a successful soloist.

Unlike on her birthday, instead of giving any special gifts to her fans, Chaeyeong wrote a simple letter on the group’s fancafe to remind their fans how much she cares about them and thank them for the great support they have given to them.

It’s been a long time since I have weritten something here, right?  And honestly, I struggled to write this one but I promise this will be a quick one ㅋㅋ 

To write this letter, I actually disappeared from the dorm an went to Jeju, to clear my head and think what should I say to you guys. It’s been a year. It’s been a long year for us and lots of good things have happened. I still remember the day when my debut song was released, the way people reacted to it and I think that was the first time our manager saw me cry.  It was a day I will never forget. 

After the debut, many great things happened; AVID came back with a new image, we were able to see more you guys and more importantly, we were able to be on stage.

I would be lying, if I say there wasn’t a time when I thought I should give up. And that time actually happened last year while I was working on my first mini-album. I was struggling a lot with the songs, I wasn’t satisfied with any of them but thanks to my members and those who have supported me, I was able to release it. So thank you.

It’s been exactly a year and I wanna thank everyone who has been supporting me since my debut. And those who have supported AVID too. I promise, AVID will come back stronger and better this year. When it comes to my solo stuff. You need to wait and see ㅋㅋ Let’s see more in the future, okay? As a member of AVID and as soloist Chaeyeong.

After months of teasing of a new girl group, Double Kill finally released five girls with a single called Rocket! The company already teased a little bit of the girl’s concept, saying it would be different from any other girls and indeed it is; sticking with a cute concept, the girls have spiced up the song a little bit with EDM, using a hint of autotune to make the song more fresh and techno, which fits perfectly with the song’s theme; Rocket. While it’s hard to grasp from the lyrics, it’s easy to assume the five girls are living in a rocket, are space girls and are throwing a party ( which kind of explains the sleepover in the music video ).

Zara pulled back and gave the male his space, perhaps thinking they were closer than they originally were. It’s not rare that Zara is told off whenever she gets a little too comfortable, as she might hug or play with someone’s hair naturally, thus being reminded that she need to keep her space, was a must. especially if someone isn’t very fond of that kind of affection, although she is still not sure if heis one of those people. An apology was still needed.

❝ But, hello, haven’t you ever like experienced it, it was like woosh and waash and wwwwaaaahh!! ❞ Excitement clearly filled her at what had recently happened to her, although she was easily amused and always tried to take the best out of every situation. Her arms moving along as she explained what had happened. This always caused her to exaggerate and talk too fast, her profession coming out more naturally than she would like to admit. Perhaps she should slow down though so the other would eventually understand her more properly and wouldn’t lose her during the explaining.

Xia being the tallest member of AVID, and also the youngest… well... after thinking about it further, it kind of made the situation a little funny as Hyojoo was a part of the maknae line, but was rather short compared to the other. Perhaps she had taken the joke a little too serious, thus she flashed a smile to the girl after a few seconds, lifting her chin a bit and playfully nudged her side.

“Let me be a tired baby.” the younger whined as she sprawled out on the chair, slumping over on it. Xion understood that it might have been long since they’ve last met face to fact, but she definitely was still feeling that wonderful jet lag. There wasn’t very many people she wanted to meet, more like there was just very few people in her life, but this was probably the most she would do especially after being away from Korea so long.

As Hyojoo, on the other hand, was in a rather playful mood, so she also whined into the phone, but more to tease than to make the girl change her mind. She could clearly hear the tired tone in her voice, and it was even like she could feel the girl not really sitting in the chair anymore, but basically laying over it. It caused her to smile, and thus, she replied with a suggestion the two could do.

[ SINGLE RELEASE ]  “Camo” Drops with Trigger and Grim. 

After teasing last week with dual images, the duo finally release the digital single from 3K’s Trigger, Featuring KnockBack’s Grim @hyeonxu to assist with the delivery. The trap beat being produced by Trigger himself as well as the composition, Grim gives the track a hint of needed swagger with his English verse as well as mixing vocals with rapping to give a unique feel to the track. Not being an official debut for Trigger himself, but it gives him off his feet once more after “Safety Off” dropped almost a month ago. Since the Trainee moved to 3K, not a lot of word has been given to the public as for what the group will be about, but if this is a sign to come from the future, it will sure turn heads in the long run!

Not entirely sure what to do, as she felt herself grow rather uncomfortable and awkward—soon creating an atmosphere where she would misunderstand, read wrong about the situation and do all the wrong things, she just let her gaze fell on the other person, chewing shyly on her bottom lip, before she dared to speak, obviously intimidated by the other.

Some entertainment between the two was necessary during these days of boredom, at least for Zara. Getting so tired of the k-drama clichés and suddenly being able to predict most actions the different characters would take, was more a curse than a blessing. Thus, she grinned confidently at her friend, nudging her side playfully.
