Few days into the break and I’m quite certain I’ve already gone through the entire dvd collection, which is a feat since it’s two combined. So that means there’s still 361 days left, yeah? Suppose I should start buying more books and games then.

Does the need to always come off as superior ever get tiring for you, Zayn? Because I can assure you, it does to those around you. Perhaps it’s less of having to rely on them as it is actually enjoying them, and the performances. Or is something as humane as that a foreign concept for you these days?

The people that I hang out around me actually appreciate me for once and trust me to know that I wouldn’t throw them under the bus when things got hard. You wouldn’t exactly know what that felt like, right?

Being back on the X Factor stage is never going to stop being emotional, is it? As well as how it’s never going to stop being one of the most exciting things ever. All in all, it was a good finale and I’m exceptionally proud over the lovely 1D performance, that just seems to keep getting better.

This means it’s almost Christmas though.

It’s not really like you’d be able to perform elsewhere. I’m half-surprised that the public still knows who you are these days. Though, it’s nice to hear that you still have to rely on my old band for some recognition.

When the idea for a beach party had been proposed Louis had been all for it, it had seemed like an excellent way to bring everyone together. Unfortunately, everyone included several persons he could have done without seeing that night. Then, games had been suggested and before he knew what the bloody hell was going on he had ended up chained to the one person that he could find better ways to use the handcuffs on. Such as locked and bound to a drain pipe somewhere in a cold, dusty, damp basement. He’d rather use the cuffs on Harry, at least that way he’d have some fun with them. “Oh, so I’m just supposed to do whatever you say. How about we do my thing?” For a second time Louis stepped to the left with satisfaction flittering through his body as he watched Zayn wobble about again. “I was going to go to the shore. Try and stop me.” There was a cheeky tone to his voice that practically forced Zayn to go against him, out of curiosity to how far his former best friend would go in antagonizing him.

With the way he saw it, Zayn figured that he should have known better than to expect anything different. Since he was in the limelight of the world’s eye, his life had been placed under a camera that seemed to follow him almost everywhere. This wasn’t any different, especially when his past mistakes had a habit of showing up repeatedly. “Actually, I was going to-” And before he could even completely his sentence, Zayn was once again tossed to the opposite. His wrist was sure to bruise, tarnished by the simple fact that the two had become like magnetic poles that repelled. With the brush of his tongue, a scoff dewed past his lips at the stubbornness that emitted from Louis. “If I did allow you to take me to the shore,” Zayn started then as he leaned back to firm his stance so that he wouldn’t be wavered. “You’d be lucky if I didn’t happen to accidentally drown you. Then maybe, for once, I’d have some peace and quiet.” With one last detached glance, Zayn twirled his hands together to conclude the banter.

After spending plenty of time under the Chewbacca suit last night, it had me thinking about facial hair. I honestly don’t know how other men do it. I was sweating pellets under it just after five minutes. Anyone with long hair or facial hair, power to you. I don’t think I’d ever be able to do it.

I tried the pony-tail trend once, and it wasn’t really that bad. Having that much hair makes it easy to just tie it up if it gets too hot.

Zayn puckered his lips, unamused with his current circumstance. Five minutes hadn’t passed already, but his right wrist was already sore to his touch. It was easy to blame it on the tightness of the metal around his skin, but he wasn’t foolish enough to believe that when he already was trying his best to get separated from his ex-friend. He already figured that there was nothing he could do but let the night pass. There was still a war raging in his head, though, of how he was possibly going to survive two hours chained to someone that he didn’t particularly like. Ultimately, Zayn pulled right but his body was knocked to the side when Louis stepped the other way. “Fuck-” Zayn cursed as he stumbled to find his balance on the uneven sand. “If we’re really going to be handcuffed for two hours, you might as well cooperate with me here. Don’t you want a beer?”
