i've been scrolling a lot on tiktok recently, and every single performance of you singing night changes has been popping up, and i'll admit, it's made me cry every single time. happy for you that you've gotten back out there on the road, and are doing music. how's it feel to see the fans face to face again? @zaynprestige

tik tok has this weird thing that becomes focused on something and shows you it a million times. like don't ask me how i ended up on "this side of tik tok" but i do and it stays there for days. talk about hyper focus much? though night changes is a good one to fixate on, it's a good song. i stand by that. it's one of the greatest feelings in the world, seeing the fans, feeling their support, their heart, but think it'll be something that is now forever bittersweet. but i'm lucky so i will always try and remember it like that. will say i will always be happy to go home to my daughter when i can, that's definitely the win out of all of this.

I don't know if it's just a me thing or if other people have this too but I have this big box of pictures stored away, mostly polaroids (we're so lucky these are still a thing) or printed out photos. The other day I let Gracie look through it, because she's in her curious, wants-to-know-everything era and let me tell you, I did not expect to see your face held up in front of me. know a lot of people keep pictures through the years, i have a ton of pictures stored away but i don't know if i'll be looking through them anytime soon. think the only ones i keep out now are the ones with my daughter in them. how old is gracie now? oh still have photos of me tucked in there do you? would have thought those got the boot and didn't make the cut to keep. well, she's not wrong, my eyes are very pretty, but tell her i appreciate all the 900 compliments i didn't know i needed.
