Second time my friend's run his event. Spanish postpunk was the theme for the night. Turnout was not as good as the 1st time but the 1st time also had the front room open and a separate occasion that was happening at the same time. So this was pretty good. The set was a little synthwave heavy for my taste, but lowkey....
If I had to choose between a secondary subgenre to be played in between the goth music at a club, I do prefer synthpop and synthwave over industrial and ebm, but that's me. So I definitely enjoyed the night.
Think I'm going to take the Sat easy and then go out on Sunday again. A bar in town is closing for remodeling and they're throwing a party. They got the back room open to spin goth, post punk, and new wave so....
