getting ALLL of my nevermore/nevermore fandom opinions out there. cancel me or whateva if you want i dont gaf rlly
1. “how do you forget lenore and annabel are the main characters??!!!” i dont. i just want to see the other characters developed more and it gets a little boring when all i see is lennabel getting shoved down my throat (especially in official art), and im sure at least a couple others are the same
2. rnf (mainly red) need to learn how to take proper criticism rather than leaving appls entirely. if youre creating for the public, youre bound to have people who have opinions about your work, if its positive or negative. i dont mean this in a mean way at all, because i know people in the fandom can be overly harsh about it, but if its simple criticism you need to accept it rather than throwing a fit. you cant hide behind the wall of patreons who agree with your every move forever and thats life
3. some people need to actually read the webtoon. at times characters get watered down to just one trait or thing they did. will is more than the kiss in 120, prospero is more than the scenes where he yelled, ada is more than someone who wants a man, pluto is more than his crush on eulalie, morella is more than an “innocent angel”. its not that hard to grasp if you open your eyes to things that dont directly involve lennabel
4. let people have their own opinions. people can dislike characters or certain designs, people can be unhappy with episodes, people can wish for other offical arts, people can want things to happen. its a normal thing and you shouldnt be salty and upset when they have a different opinion. it isnt that hard to grasp
5. the story is more than lennabel. i KNOW that theyre the main point and obviously going to be what people focus on, but they arent the entire story. theres a whole other cast of characters that have their own plots and so on. focus on them a little bit too.
6. being petty is dumb. being petty towards rnf is dumb, being petty towards people in the community are dumb, being petty in general is dumb. i dont care. i kmow some people are bad, but its not hard to keep it to yourself.
7. the fandom is full of minors. minors make mistakes (this isnt me defending any possible problematic people, dont take it that way). minors shouldnt be attacked for speaking their opinions. nobody should, truly.
8. some of the characters are shallow. because of the hyperfocus on lennabel, especially recently, some characters feel VERY forgotten about. how are some characters going to have 3-4+ flashbacks while people like morella, berenice, eulalie, and ada have only gotten one, and most of them feel very disconnected from the way they died.
this fandom feels like a bunch of babies first fandom and nobody knows what to do i think!!! not hard to just be decent people with media literacy
theres probably more, but im lazy and dont wamt to type!!! and if i repeated any points uhhh im sorry its late at night and i AM losing it a little
