Zeke Reynolds Zeke is a 21 year old sophomore majoring in zoology and animal behavior. Zeke's secret is he used to hack into all kinds of things for other people in return for money.

“I do try but it can be pretty futile when you don’t understand what you’re trying to fit it too, which for me is most social situations. It can be frustrating but I don’t mind being different.”

“I’ve always liked Jean Grey; Phoenix.” She offered her own thoughts on the matter. “Why do you relate to The Beast?” 

“She’s pretty cool, I can see why you might like her,” Zeke said with a nod of acknowledgement. “He’s smart and has a thirst for knowledge like me. And he’s an outsider and I often feel like an outsider. I mean, I know all the X-Men tend to feel like outsiders but with some, like Beast they can’t even try and blend in.”

“I didn’t realize anyone else actually used the locker room showers at this hour.” He said flatly shifting slightly “Ya know it’s rude to stare.”

“I’m, um, not staring,” Zeke said, looking everywhere but at the other male. “My shower. At home. It’s broken. I thought no one would be here this early.”

The slap stung, his eyes watered and he knew the slap would bruise his cheek The man that stood in front of Cain was probably twice his size in muscle. They were practically the same height with the same chestnut brown hair. The older male had Cain by the wrist, squeezing hard enough that he feared he’d break it again. Cain was struggling to get free but the more he pulled his wrist the tighter the hand became. The man was angry and any passerby could tell, but most just kept walking. Cain finally met eyes with someone, he wasn’t sure if he knew the other person or not but he gave a silent plea for help. He knew the other man, his father, wouldn’t continue if someone stepped in. Cain just needed help. 

Zeke felt his anxiety rise when he saw someone hurting Cain. Not only was Zeke uncomfortable with social confrontations but he had no idea what to do in a situation like this. He didn’t feel equipped to deal with it. But, he liked Cain. On the few occasions, they had met Cain had always been nice to Zeke which meant a lot to him. Zeke didn’t want to return that kindness by walking away when Cain clearly needed someone. Counting his breaths to calm himself Zeke approached Cain and the man holding his wrist. “Um, Cain,” He started, his voice just about audible. “I was hoping to see you. I was, um, hoping that you could help me with something.” Zeke didn’t think he could confront the other man directly and just hoped the interruption would be enough.

“It came from Wales? Wow, what other crazy random facts do you have in that head of yours? I am, sports medicine to be exact, but medicine none the less.”

“I have quite a few, I’m good at remembering facts. There’s a town in Ontario, Canada where it’s illegal to climb trees. A bolt of lightning is six times hotter than the sun. An ant’s smell is stronger than a dog’s. I can list more. I like facts. Do you like sports as well then? Is that why you chose sports medicine?”

Cain chuckled happily as he looked down at his dog and back at Zeke “At first I couldn’t, but now-” Cain leaned down and slipped two finger under the collar, there was a bit of space still but not enough that the collar would come off “the collar is good.” He hummed.

“Then hopefully he won’t be able to slip out of his collar again,” Zeke said, continuing to stroke the dog. It didn’t even cross his mind that he might be inconveniencing Cain who might want to continued walking his dog. “Macavity is an interesting name for a dog.”

I’ve come up with a few possible plots ideas to generate some more threads. If you’re interested in one message me, or like this and I’ll message you. Some can be done with more than one character, others need not so much so please don’t be angry with me if I can’t do one of the plots with you because I’ve already planned to do it with someone else.

Zeke is sat somewhere (could be a bench or public transport) and someone sits next to him a falls asleep on his shoulder causing Zeke to panic a little.

They keep bumping into each other everywhere and it’s starting to get weird.

Zeke’s dog has gone missing, and your character finds him or helps Zeke look.

Your character tried to flirt with Zeke only it keeps going completely over his head.

Your character has is upset or is having a panic attack and Zeke is the only one around to comfort them.

Both characters are in an elevator and it gets stuck.

Your characters pretends Zeke is their boyfriend to get rid of someone bothering them and Zeke has no choice but to go along with it – although he’s very confused by the whole situation.

what is a fictional character you identify with?

I’ve been likened to Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory but aside from a few similar character traits, I don’t see it. Personally, I identify most with Beast from X-Men.

Biggest crime you've ever committed?

I’ve done a lot of hacking that could have landed me in big trouble. I’ve done a little bit of hacking, nothing major. The kind of hacking most people good with computers do.

Top five cute people

I don’t really see people that way, not until I get to know them. Until then I don’t really find people cute, but I can analyse how a person might be cute in today’s standards of beauty. Based on that I would probably say @vinnic , @sarahstwrt , @silasradcliff, @eurigowens and @mcxxie

Do you like to cook? If so, what do you like to cook and how good is it?

I can cook, but only what I like. I can be a really picky eater and find cooking for myself is easiest because of this. I don’t like people I don’t know touching my food either. Eating out is usually problematic.

once steady, focused, eyes adverted elsewhere. creating a path from the younger boy’s stance towards the solid ground underneath his feet. he’d been staring too long, and a little too frequently—and the last thing he’d have wanted was the stranger to feel as if he were under surveillance. he rolled his lips inwards, taking a seat along a nearby bench before crossing his ankles together. “are they?” he asked, reiterating his words more then asking. “well this goes without saying but it’s nice to meet you.” he uttered, patting a seat beside him. he crinkled his nose in thought—finding it best to keep the ball rolling then not. hopefully he’d feel better because of it. “there’s not much to tell to be honest. we’re no different then other schools council. we work behind the scenes of arcadia mostly and we act as a mouthpiece for the students to administrations and we handle school wide events…like this one.” 

Zeke’s gaze had met with Vinnie’s briefly before darting away and then returning once more. He was usually rather good with eye contact, especially with people he knew, but Zeke found it harder maintaining it when he felt uncomfortable or anxious. It made it easier when the other averting his own gaze, it removed the pressure slightly. Zeke followed Vincent towards the bench and took a seat, his leg was jittering but the shaking from the panic attack had now resided. His eyes rested on a line of ants making their way around a leaf. “Um, thanks,” Zeke said in answer to the customary greeting of nice to meet you, he was never sure how to respond to it. “Most people seem to be enjoying the event, so you must be good at your job. At least that aspect anyway.” He commented, trying to keep the conversation going to help keep his mind occupied. “Is that what you want to do then? Work on councils and in politics?”

“That’s pretty cool. I’m slightly book smart but in what I lack in book smarts, I definitely make up for in other ways. You’re right.” Sarah commented before typing in ‘X-Men Comics’ into the search bar. “Who’s your favorite X-Men?” 

“Everyone’s brains are wired differently, the world wouldn’t really function well if everyone was book smart.” He replied with a small shrug. “The Beast and Nightcrawler,” Zeke answered without hesitation. “I could never pick between the two. Although, I suppose I identify more with The Beast.”

the last few nights had consisted of headaches, advil, and catching up work he had ( somewhat ) ignored until the very last minute. there was no doubt that maxxie was unfocused, and quite frankly, it was more frustrating than he thought it would be. it was as if his thoughts wouldn’t manifest themselves in words – as if they were locked inside his mind, protected by a password he wasn’t even aware of. with a two cup of coffee in his hands, pathetically both of them meant for himself, he stopped dead in his tracks as he spotted the guy he stumbled upon at the masquerade earlier.  ❛ sup !? ❜ he greeted, a large smile replacing his tired expression.  ❛ you want one ?? i was originally gonna drink them both, but i don’t think that’s really good for my heart so, —- it’s soy milk, by the way. it’s sweeter, also, regular milk makes me like, gasy and shit. i have no idea why i just told you that, by the way. geez — god, i’m sorry. hi.  ❜

Zeke was a little taken aback at first as he was suddenly bombarded by words. He recognised Maxxie from the masquerade ball, and he relaxed a little once he was able to process everything the other said - which took him a few seconds. It helped that he remembered how kind and understanding Maxxie had been at the dance. “I don’t think you need the caffeine of both,” Zeke replied, not realising that the comment could come across as rude. “You seem like you might already have had one.” It wasn’t an insult, for Zeke it was a mere observation. In fact, sometimes it was easier when someone spoke a lot. It meant Zeke didn’t have to talk as much. “It’s nothing to be embarrassed about, lactose intolerance affects many people despite people’s doubts it even exists. But, I don’t really drink coffee. I don’t like hot drinks.”

Cain smiled as Zeke petted Macavity, he looked over running his fingers through the furr on his head “He likes you to Zeke!” He chirped happily before sharing his head “I just got him not long ago and I was worried about the collar being too tight that I didn’t have it tight enough. I learned my lesson now. I’m glad I didn’t loose him.”

Zeke smiled as he continued to pet Macavity, “He seems like a very friendly dog.” He commented, but please none the less that the dog liked him. “As long as you can fit two fingers under the collar it’s not too tight,” Zeke advised, not being patronising but just trying to be useful with his knowledge.

“That’s a whole lot of information that I probably wont remember. How did you know that? I’m studying sports medicine, ya know to be a doctor to athletes and shit.”

“I read it in a book of random facts about different countries. It was under facts about Wales, where the saying originating. Oh, so you’re training to be a doctor. That makes a lot more sense.”
