zhenyaselwyn:
Zhenya had thought naively that the only time she would ever find herself to be truely hurt was when she had heard about the death of her older brother, an event that felt like a lifetime ago now. Yet this attack had hardened her heart, and had caused her allegiances to shift in the tumultuous time; her self-preservation seeking to survive. Yet her facade had to remain if she was to stay alive, allowing others to think what they would; despite the truth. “Yes of course. I’m sure he will avenge us, even if not in this castle.” She replied with a nod, unsure quite where to lead the conversation.
It was wishful thinking, that Grindelwald would avenge them. He seemed to have a great number of supporters, but rarely directly consorted with them – especially the students at Hogwarts. An act of revenge outside of Hogwarts would be fruitless – it was inside the castle that Zelda had faced her traumas. Although she criticized him, at the same time, Zelda wanted to capture his attention, and move up in the army’s ranks. She spoke in a hushed tone, hoping Zhenya would agree with what she said next. “What if we were to do the avenging?”
