Meet Madeleine DelbenƩ - healer, witch, and professional Musketeer handler (thanks to @capitaineathos )
A letter from Athos to his lover
(Ok, so I donāt normally write canon/oc stuff for my tumblr or my fic accounts, but Maddie is a character of my dear friend Mimi, @zeonlymimi, and I wanted to do a little something to make her smile ^-^ā We rp together and Athos absolutely adores this partner, so this piece of writing was born, I guess XD)
My dearest Madeleine,
My heart aches for being parted from you. This seige is long, the days filled with the dull monotony of repetitive tasks. We see little action, you will be thankful to know, yet we yearn for it. We are soldiers, unaccustomed to such boredom.
How I wish you could be here with me, though I would never wish to place you in such danger as there is on a battlefield. I have thought of you every day since I left. In the stars I see your eyes, and on the wind I hear your voice. My one light in a world of darkness, my life seems somewhat colder without you by my side. I had almost forgotten how that felt.
Though I had truly believed that I could never love again, how thoroughly my heart has been broken, I now can hardly imagine my life without you. Your gentle hands soothe my soul and mend my wounds. Your kisses lift the burden of sorrow I carry upon my heart. My heart that now belongs to you.
For I love you, Maddie. I love you with all my heart and soul. Your eyes that speak so much more than words ever could, your eyes that I lose myself in every time you glance my way. The way you smile lights a warm fire inside of me, makes me want to smile too. Even the way we bicker, the way you shake your head and call me fool, I cannot regret a moment. For I am a fool. A fool in love. A fool who loves so deeply that it is all consuming. I entrust you with everything I am, my love, and only pray that you can love me in return.
I will come home to you soon, my dearest heart. We hope to take La Rochelle within the week, and then we shall return to Paris. How I wish it could be sooner, but I cannot abandon my brothers. I know you understand. But I long to hold you in my arms again, to feel your skin beneath my fingers and assure myself that you are not a dream. You are an angel sent from heaven, and sometimes I can hardly believe that you were meant for me. Yet here you are. And when you lay in my arms in the darkness, when you sleep so soundly, smile so serenely, when I can hear the beat of your heart in the silence, I know that I am not alone.
I am sending all of my love to you, sweet Madeleine, and I hope that you will spare a thought for me as you read this. I pray that we all make it through this final battle and that I may return to you. And if I do not, I pray that you think fondly of me, as a man who loved you as dearly as any man could.
Forever, your Athos

AND ONE DAY during a meeting someone (letās say courfeyrac) goes hey R can i have some of that and heās like yeah sure and the MOMENT he realises what heās drinking he spits a mouthful of GRAPE JUICE all over the place and heās like āR IS THIS??? G R A P E JUICE??ā and R just?? yes?? what did you think it was?

It is our duty as feminists to protect and respect women in Hijabs
Now. More. Than. Ever.
Question: if I see someone pull off a Hijab, what should I do? I know there are reasons they are worn so I want to if i should stand in between them and who did this, should i protect them from view somehow, or something else? This has been happening a lot so I feel itās something everyone needs to know.
Good question! I cannot correctly and effectively answer, as I am a white, non-Muslim person; however, I will reblog in case any of my followers can answer.Ā
I asked my Hijabi friend, so hereās one Hijabiās answer:Ā
āmy opinion is, definitely try cover them or give them something to cover themselves with. And perhaps shoo off the person, without putting oneself in danger! God forbid, if that happened to me, I would like someone to come and comfort me and give me something to cover my hair with and then help me report it to the cops ā
(Followers, if any of you are hijabi and would like to expand on this answer or offer alternatives, please do.)
If u see it happen to 1 of us, pls cover our head + hair with a coat or shawl or any piece of cloth, while hugging us in comfort. Please donāt get hurt by lashing out @ the perpetrators in any way, coz if they dare to do that, theyāre probably too far gone in their own hatred to listen to any reason. Much love + Thank You to anyone who supports us.
yes !! everything said here is important af. if you see someone pull off a girlās hijab immediately cover her hair and provide comfort. donāt talk to the perpetrator but try to get the woman out of there if you can. maybe if you have a scarf on you at the time give it to her so she can wear it until sheās alone and can replace her hijab. please please protect muslim girls because we already had it hard before donald trump became president and now its gonna be worse with people going around thinking their violence and cruelty is justifiedĀ
for my other white ppl who might have a hard time, itās my understanding that a hijab is like a major item of clothing, not an accessory like a hat or a scarf. so think abt it more like if someone just ripped someoneās shirt or skirt off. u donāt want to be left there exposed or have to walk home without it.
everyone, even outside America needs to protect our Muslim sisters in these times.
as a man, what would be the best thing to do? should i turn my head and avoid looking at their hair? can i still offer a jacket or something similar?
^Iām hoping someone has an answer islamaphpbia is on the rise in my town and I want to be a good male non Muslim ally
For men, yes please, we would prefer it if you avoided looking at our hair, and if we donāt have something to substitute as a hijab at that moment, anything you could lend us, a jacket, etc, would be very appreciated.
Also, since most girls avoid physical contact with men theyāre not related to, please do not hug them, but rather shoo the offender away if you can, or at least escort the girl to a safe place. You can still offer words of encouragement and support. Furthermore, understand that the victim may not be very welcoming towards you because sheāll obviously be shaken, and wonāt know where you are coming from. If thatās the case, please still give her something to cover herself (hijab is very important, think of it as someone ripping your shirt off) and stand some distance away until you are sure sheās in safe hands.
Thank you so much for your support, we really appreciate it, god bless all of you.
In the horrible climate weāre currently in, please take note of this.
Reblogging this again for the guy-instructions

If youāve got an emergency kit for events/rallys/etc, an inexpensive/thrift store shawl or scarf is a great addition to it.Ā It can keep you/someone else warm, it can be used as a makeshift sling or bag, and it can be used for this!Ā Something light but opaque that can be folded to many sizes is ideal.
I LOVE YOU Y'ALL SO MUCH. BLESS YOU
Iām a hijabi and my hijab has been pulled off before . The ideal situation (which thankfully happened to me ) is two have a group of people (preferably girls) stand around you for coverage and help you cover your hair quickly. After her hair ( and anyy other part of her body that might have been exposed ) is securely covered it would be best to comfort the hijabi / ask if she needs help reporting.
So definitely, if you see someone pull off a hijab , donāt go after the offender, donāt start a fight . Islam is a religion of peace , just help the girl.
I love everyone supporting/ wearing hijab ā¤ļø
Ladies, Iād recommend wearing the under scarf cap/bonnet underneath your hijab (and keeping it hidden), so you wonāt have to worry about your hair being seen. Iād also suggest keeping some spare hijabs with you (better safe than sorry) if you live in an islamophobic country. God forbid, if this ever happens to me, Iād appreciate it if a group of girls would surround me (surround me, not provoke the attacker), while I fix my hair/hijab. The attacker would probably not come back if they see a crowd. Please donāt provoke the attacker, but if you do feel like intimidating someone, just glare at bystanders who are laughing/judging, or nosy, useless men who are staring.
If youāre a dude, chances are I wonāt trust you and probably run away in fear, so just keep a distance and please avoid staring and do not touch or attempt to hug the hijabi. We donāt want your hugs. Iād appreciate it if youād give me a hoodie or anything with a hood, and quickly alert some girls. Hoodies are the best.
Thankfully, this has never happened to me and hopefully never will. I always have random pins stuck to my hijab, so if someone attempts this stunt, theyād probably prick themselves.
(Also, I personally would want to be left alone after fixing the situation. So, unless the hijabi shows signs of wanting to be comforted, donāt do it. Just say your salam and leave.)
Love your take on it ! Dudes should definitely not try and hug me immediately after my hijab was pulled off because they will probably end up with a broken arm , Iām in shock!!
Also the under scarf thing really helps !!! Thatās what mainly got me through the situation , my hair wasnāt totally uncovered !
Iām sorry so you had to go through that, but Iām glad that you got some help. <3
Forget hugging (thatās unthinkable and any dude who is foolish enough to try it will get into trouble.) I dislike shaking hands with men as well, and they always get offended when I donāt touch their sweaty palms! š
Thank for your support! but it was really not that extreme , it was actually a misunderstanding kinda and the guy apologized to me the next day ! I live in Egypt islamphobia is not exactly common and I would hate for my experience to be mistaken for something much bigger! Anyway this post is not the place to tell my story š
As for the shaking hands thing , try saying you just performed ŁŲ¶ŁŲ” it usually works if you live in a place where people know what that is
Oh, right! Still, he shouldnāt have done that.
Thanks for the tip. š

ALWAYS REBLOG WHEN YOU SEE SOMETHING LIKE THIS PLEASE; ITS SO MUCH MORE THAN IMPORTANT TO PEOPLE. IT MEANS EVERYTHING TO SOMEBODY AND EVEN THOUGH YOU MIGHT NOT SEE THIS IN THE SAME LIGHT, SOMEONE MIGHT. INFACT YOU REBLOGGING THIS COULD STOP SOMEONE TAKING THEIR LIFE TONIGHT.
Seriously thank you.
Please reblog. I love every single one of you. Youāre not alone.
You.
Are.
Not.
Alone.
Mimi loves you!
Shout out to my Arabic teacher that looked at us yesterday mid-lesson and said, āIām worried. You all look exhausted and depressed.ā
Of we were all like, āOh yeah weāre dead inside, you havenāt noticed?ā
And he snapped shut the textbook, threw up his hands and said, āThatās not healthy! No more vocab! Time for dancing!ā
And he taught us a dance from Iraq and we danced instead of doing vocab. We didnāt stop dancing until he saw all of us laughing and was satisfied that we were all feeling better. It was perhaps the coolest, most kind-hearted thing Iāve ever seen a college instructor do.
That's fookin great
