Tragically beautiful-but what does it mean?
TW! //ED some motivation~ The phrase tragically beautiful, a phrase known by many who experience/experienced an eating disorder. Iāve seen people talk about how over glamourised anorexia is, and how itās not tragically beautiful at all-but isnāt it? Feeling weak, getting a bit lightheaded, pushing yourself to keep going-isnāt that tragically beautiful? Seeing people worry about you, people asking you if you feel okay, people asking if you need some of their food-isnāt that tragically beautiful? That being said, I completely understand that some of anorexia isnāt tragically beautiful at all, itās just more than people like to believe it is. Something else Iāve been thinking about; symptoms. Like I said in the above, some symptoms really do make you feel accomplished. Feeling lightheaded, weak, etc. That first wave of accomplishment is so rewarding, and it really works in your favour. I know this post wasnāt too long, and Iām sorry about that. Iāll be posting more thinspo content soon <3

how is feeling weak, light headed and pushing yourself beyond your limits beautiful in any way or form? Like weāre slowly killing ourselves???? This is a deadly fucking disease and you wanna try say itās beautiful???? Putting ātragicallyā in front of it doesnāt change the fact that youāre trying to justify eating disorders being perceived as beautiful. āSome of anorexia isnāt tragically beautiful at allā ??????? SOME of it??? SOME?????? Iām sorry sis but there is absolutely NOTHING beautiful about an eating disorder, tragic or not.
