I feel like Raine is the type to use classic pet names, such as sweetheart, darling, honey, babe, my love, etc.

So when they and Eda get back together, Raine subconsciously falls into the habit of calling her those again.

(I like to think that Rainestorm is different from pet names, because that’s just a friendly nickname between the two of them)

At first they’re a little embarrassed, but then they use it as 1) a way to make Eda feel better, and 2) a way to fluster Eda.

Of course, it makes Eda short-circuit because she is NOT used to that level of love. (She deserves it tho)

For example!

Raine: “I’m going to the store!”

Eda: “Okay, byyye!”

Raine: “Bye, sweetheart!”

Raine used to live in the Knee!

So in top of talent and hard work, that's probably one of the reasons why they're such a powerful witch/a prodigy: they had a place where magic flows better to train as a kid!

And now I'm inagining tiny Raine leaving their house in a cutesy winter outfit to train and being so happy every time they get a spell right, and omg, it's adorable. Someone please draw this.

Am I the only one who only realized this now? Am I dumb? I'm pretty sure I haven't seen anyone else mention this??

I never noticed it before but Raine’s face when Eda reveals King’s a Titan is just funny as hell. (Yes, Eda didn’t say outright that King was a Titan but I think Raine is smart enough to put it together when she tells King “Dang kid, you do have tall genes” right after seeing the vestige of the Titan.)
