This is totally just my own thoughts. I like dumping my trash here, not like anyone's gonna read it anyway, right. Just storing my own thoughts, and don't take me too seriously, I just like rambling at night, and maybe I'm just that fucking insecure, whatever :
...I just assume the best thing about Kon's whole look is those green eyes. The clearest part of his scruffy, messy, no-fucks-given appearance. Windows to the soul—they show that underneath it all, he's an idealist with a core of good in him. The thing with extreme idealists is, after their lofty ideals crash into reality, do they stay on track? But Kon's morals already derailed a long time ago. That high-pressure environment changed his morality and empathy on a fundamental level. Those reflective glasses, that pulled-down hood hiding those bright eyes—it's like he packed away his old beliefs, carrying the weight of his ideals all alone. So even if he was standing right in front of me right now, I STILL WOULDN'T KNOW. Is the blood on that sword of his from someone who had it coming? Or not? WHO KNOWS.
Hehehe… I guess that's why this character's so hard to hate, even though he's guilty as hell. But let's be real—not forgiving him is the normal thing to do, right? 'Cause the damage he did? That shit's real.but,God, I hate how much I love this asshole.
I might have been way too obsessed with digging into the author’s official lore, but there’s still a bunch of timelines I haven’t checked out—like Unfinished Business and Portraits of Your Father.
Unfinished Business has always intrigued me, though. I got spoiled on it—Kon ends up using himself as bait, triggering some SCP’s anomalous effect with a suicide move, taking all the “lights” present with him. But in the end, it seems like “Bright” still managed to outmaneuver everyone else. That’s the charm of this guy—he’s not afraid to die, willing to sacrifice himself for his ideals. Such a damn idealist. But when that sacrifice fails to bring the expected success, it hits even harder than just a plain defeat. Everything was doomed from the start, his dreams crushed by reality over and over.
Bright dies a lot—I feel like that’s just part of his gimmick, and honestly, it’s kind of fun? But Kon… Kon’s different. He manages to die in every single timeline, like it’s fate. Different methods, same destination—he always ends up dead.
Today I saw someone describe writing is some fucked-up craft. You’re either constipated or shitting your guts out, but slap on some laxatives or Imodium and you can still fight to squeeze that fucking turd out.
uhhh...Why is this so damn real.
Some people also say revising an article to make it better takes craftsmanship—the art of polishing a turd. No goddamn guide for this shit. You can't stuff it back where it came from. You just grit your teeth and fucking carve. Too real.
