The only thing React Native has going for it is OTA updates. Being able to push a fix without recompiling and resubmitting to the app stores is kind of insane when you think about how iOS works.

Because in native iOS you ship it and that's it. You're locked in. One little thing slips through and now you're doing a whole new build, whole new review cycle, whole new submission blah blah.

Aii maybe I'm critical. It's also good because I can manage one codebase more or less.. kinda sorta.. idk. Still a pain in the ass though.

Just gotta say.. the amount of anti-scraping measures that manga reading sites have is absolutely ridiculous. This week, they added an IMAGE SCRAMBLING script that chops a manga page into 10 squares and rearranges them (semi-randomly) every 3rd page... So I had to figure that out and put it back to together so I can use my custom manga reading iOS app.

Bruh.. the manga is stolen, why are we trying to anti-scrape? Is that going to help make this shit less illegal? Not to mention dealing with Cloudflare and their wide array of detection tactics and fingerprinting I have to sneak my way around. Venting..
