I want a healthy way to deal with my emotions spiking after hearing one thing I dislike or w/e. I think that writing my feelings out has been helping.
I was having a wonderful day today (somehow on a Monday) and things were going well up until the very end of the day. I had asked my boss if I could leave an hour early before the holidays cause my family is going to a hockey game and I wanted to make it on time.
Iām not upset that he said no, iām upset with HOW he said no. Legitimately if he had just said, nah we have a lot of work to do I need you here, I wouldnāt be writing this post. But the manner in which he responded, on top of how he responded to my coworker asking to use his PTO, left a very sour taste in my mouth.
Sigh. I will try to lift my spirits. I worked hard today. I donāt deserve to ruminate over something so small at home. Time to unwind.
