small pet peeve of mine is when writers dont stay consistent with what name they refer to the characters by. they’ll say “aomine” in one sentence and “daiki” in the next like pls just pick one and stick with it 😭

#ngl i used to do that for a VERY LONG time and still sometimes do #(although now I mostly switched to the narrator calling them by what they call themselves=#=if they call each other by given names the narrator uses given names only etc)#but I used to switch the names because I learned to write in a different language than English #and I translated most of the rules from my native language into English #one of the rules is “don't repeat words within 3-5 lines of text of each other”#(btw another one is “never put numbers as numerals [1 2 3 etc] and instead spell them [one two three etc]”)#(so I'm here writing dates as “the third of May twenty-twenty-six” and time as “two-oh-five in the morning”)#so yeah I used to switch names because I was literally taught to do so when I was a kid and if I didn't I'd have those marked as style error #and get reduced points even if other than that it was a perfectly good essay/story/whatever text #it's honestly so hard to work on fixing that because it applies only to one language like in my native one it's still a mistake #but in English switching the names is more likely to be counted as a mistake than not switching them...#(thing that made me learn once & for all was the narrator switching from only surnames to only names after the charas got more intimate 🫣)

I recently rewatched *KnB* and fell in love all over again—not just with Kagami, but with *all* these cute guys! *Ugh*, I can't handle it! I remembered that about a year or so ago, I drew the guys as their female counterparts, so I decided to give it another shot. I *love* Fem!Kagami; she's just so pretty! 😭🩷
