For those seeing these guys for the first time - these characters are the main heroines and heroes of two main stories I am developing. From left to right: Ita and Zey, whose story is called "Espirozo," and Olis with Feyos, whose story is called "Oggwuti." Their stories take place in the same universe but are not connected to each other. With future updates, you'll definitely learn a lot of new things about these characters!

Upon first seeing her, I thought I was dreaming. I could not believe I had been granted the honor of beholding this vision – so divine and wondrous was her face! That grace, her hair blazing like crimson fire, seeming to live its own life... At that moment, I knew for certain that I wished to see her presence in everything I portrayed. And I also knew, just as certainly, that I could never, to any degree, come close to the true beauty she radiated.

Finally, I was able to bring this idea to life! For those who aren’t very familiar with my characters or have somewhat forgotten (which is understandable, since I rarely mention it), I have a character who is an artist - Kerberos. And from the very moment I added this trait to him, I kept coming back to the idea of creating an illustration that pays homage to what his paintings might look like. For a long time, I lacked the skills and confidence, but recently I’ve been feeling especially inspired by classical art, so I finally decided to take this step!

Of course, I haven’t yet reached the point of deeply delving into the nuances of brushwork and other details that would be difficult to convey through a stylized approach and digital illustration, but I’ve depicted a rough idea. I think this piece with Iva could be one of the first, maybe even the very first painting, in which he portrayed her. I really wanted to capture that sense of admiration, of celebration, something reminiscent of the cult of the beautiful lady. And I hope I’ve succeeded 🕊️

totally understand the urge to make connections between things you see and pre-existing concepts, i even think it can be charming depending on what it's related to, inspiration is all around us after all! and as humans we're bound to create similar things at times and note patterns between them, unintentional or no! but i do have to say i can understand the frustration when it comes to art and receiving a non-insignificant amount of reactions made up of Only comparisons .. is it not worth enough to stand on the value of its own merit?

Drawing irie omg, I finally did a redraw! I want to participate in artfight for the first time!

Btw, let me tell you a little about why I was gone for so long. TW Mobbing, Depression.

Sooo... I found a job over a year ago, and I was doing quite well, even hoping for a promotion, but in December I got sick and things got ugly. Mobbing, the director calling me "brat" Or that I'm backward, slow and stuff like that. I was given work that others weren't doing, I had my breaks taken away or I was let go for them almost at the end of my shift... Yaa. Everything was fine until December. Then it all started and I fell into depression.

It's better now :3 I quit my job and took a few months off. I've started drawing again, and I have plans to start an Instagram and maybe even a TikTok and try to actually be more active because that's what I want to do with my life. Draw.

I'm currently starting a new part-time job, definitely easier than the one I had the first time, it gives me time and resources to develop myself, to focus on commissions, animations and myself in general :D I'm happy that I finally have time to straighten it again.
