Kaveh in a kurta💛 (notes below)
•This floral pattern was taken from an Isfahan Persian rug design by Reza Seirafian
•The henna design was mainly inspired by these two images, with leaves, bird and lotus motifs
•This pattern on the kurta was vaguely based off of the Derafsh Kaviani, one of the most ancient symbols in Iranian history. It’s identified with a few figures from Iranian mythology, and Kaveh the Blacksmith is among them!
•The patterns on the collar, sleeves, etc. were taken from this image! Even tho the paisley wasn’t included here, there’s this article that gives a lot of great insight into its origins, symbolisms and progressions over time
