MIthian Zharkov, also known as Mithian Pope within her hometown, is the heir to the Zharkov Empire and childhood friend of Bruce Wayne. A pureblood witch she attends Dalcrest Academy, is the leader of the Vitale Society, and a member of the supernatural town's Elder's Council. A member of the Dalcrest Aacedmy group verse, Mithian is also open to selective independent storylines. Mun is 21+ and this is a sideblog. No images belong to me unless otherwise stated.

Bruce’s eyes narrowed for a moment but he didn’t say anything, instead he just shook his head "I never said that.” Though the conviction in his voice was lacking slightly there was a cold look in his eye. “What’re you doing here?” he asked her curiously, brushing a hand through his hair “You have a bad habit of popping up wherever I happen to be, if I didn’t know better I’d say you’re following me.” he teased lightly.

      “No you didn’t. I did.” Meredith retorted, eyes narrowing slightly at his seeming defensiveness. “I’m not following you. But this is a rather small town-- at least in comparison to Gotham and we do go to the same school.” Mithian pointed out inferring the question, why would it be so strange they’d continuously cross paths? Yet there’s teasing in her tone. “That said, it’s a good thing we ran into each other. I had something to talk to you about.”

Bruce exhaled, closing his eyes “You didn’t waste your first chance,  so there was no second chance but the truth is that people don’t change.” the young billionaire exhaled “People are given too many second chances and they do whatever they want, so no- there shouldn’t be a second chance."he said "They should be locked up if they commit a crime, banished if they betray someone.” he said, “It’s better that way.”  Less painful, but he wouldn’t admit that aloud.

     There’s a moment of silence which passes between them as Mithian considers his words. She wanted to believe that she’d give some people a second chance but would she give her mother one? The woman that had taken her magic for the better part of her life? Who had killed her brother? Had killed her resulting in her father’s ultimate death bringing her back? She agreed with what the Council had determined, that her mother had to die, as harsh as it was. “It’s lets painful.” Mithian agreed, saying the words even if he didn’t.

      “Did you?” Lissa replied, an eyebrow raising, and a snicker escaping her. It wasn’t funny, she should be more in control… okay, maybe it was a little funny. “It is a little cool. It reminds me of air users,” she leaned against the wall as she spoke. “For a while, I thought I could be an air user. But I never could get the hang of it. You ever meet an air user? They can do some amazing stuff. Gotta say, though, the spells are almost more amazing. I never even knew this stuff existed ‘til recently.”

“I might be good at magic but even I can admit I suck at aim.” Mithian replied, making a face at the mess. “Anyone want to give me a hand here?” She called out, thankful they were in a part of the library/bookstore that only supernaturals were generally allowed. Gotta love that second-floor treatment. 

     “Really? Come on.. you remember what happened last time I picked up glass..” And as if her prayers were answered the smashed pieces began to float and move off behind a shelf and into another room. 

     ‘Yes, I do. You and sharp objects shouldn’t be allowed in the space.’ Someone called while poking their head out of the other room and then disappearing again. “Oh? Want to learn more about magic? I mean, this is kinda the exact place to do it.”

     “If that’s true, why’d you give our friendship a second chance?” Granted, she supposed, that their friendship hadn’t really ended as much as faded when they hadn’t been able to keep in contact, but still, even after everything that happened in her life, she wanted to believe that some people could be given a second chance. “You don’t really think that though, do you? That no one deserves a second chance?”

     ”My mom loved Star Wars, you can thank her for that.” Carly joked back and allowed herself to relax further. She listened attentively to Mithian’s words and followed her out of the building towards the brunette’s parked car. However, the sound of a bark grabbed the blonde’s attention. Her gaze followed the voice to a very, very large dog in the backseat, though she suspected the beast wasn’t simply another dog. Luckily, Mithian soothed Grom’s worries but not before Carly jumped a little with fear. Another lovely reason to have Mithian as a friend rather than an enemy. After one last glance to make sure the dog was appeased, Carly settled herself in the car and closed the door.

     ”Werewolves?” The blonde said incredulously as she stared at Mithian with parted lips and wide eyes. “You have to be joking. Why are we going to see werewolves and why am I going along? My sister’s would freak if they ever found out.” Though, with how busy they both were in their own worlds, Carly doubted they’d ever even bother to check up on her and would never know.

     There’s a soft laugh that escapes Mithian as she pulls the car out of the lot and onto Lucinda Ave, stopping it once when a few students decided to dart out across the street. “Hey! Werewolves aren’t that bad, Alex used to let Michelle ride him in his wolf form when she was little.” (Though she didn’t expect her to know who Michelle was.) A lot of people thought him harsh, but they didn’t understand how difficult it was to suddenly be thrust into the role of your parents. Still, he had his moments. 

     “These are pruebloods, not Mutts, you’ll be fine. As for why we’re going there.. why not? It’s time you learn more about this town.” Mithianexplained, though she also had her own reasons for going there. “If you face any issues I’ll take the blame. But frankly, if they have any issues with it than that’s a bit were-racist. Don’t you think?”

“I meant to do that.. really, I did.” Mithian began, thankful that there had only been supernaturals around. She really didn’t fancy having to get someone to do a memory spell-- they weren’t her strong suit. “Okay, I didn’t mean to but, you have to admit that was kind of cool.”

       Her last name was what caught her attention, and she turned towards the voice, a little wary. Things starting off like this, with a somewhat professional, serious, edge never ended well. Even if this wasn’t Court, people with problem’s seemed to need her, and she was happy to oblige, but time was hardly something she had much of. Problems always took time. Still, a smile crossed her face, her usual friendly and welcoming persona taking place of her doubts. The woman who stood before her, Mithian, surprised her however. They’d barely spoken, and she hardly struck Lissa as someone who needed the help. “Of course, Mithian. What can I do for you?”

       A chuckle escaped her lips at the question, one eyebrow raising. It was innocent, but it was still somehow amusing, like a breath of fresh air. Since she began her rule, people were always walking on eggshells with her, worried about offending the Moroi Queen. This was honest, and she didn’t seem nervous around her. It was nice. “I’m not your Queen,” she replied, tilting her head. “There’s no need to address me as such. Honestly, I’d rather you didn’t.” It gave her some sense of normal.

     Mithian wasn’t one to be intimidated by authority, at least not anymore. Her early life had been plagued with timidness but her later life? Now that had been when she’d learned to embrace power. Besides, the Dragomir Queen wasn’t her Queen, as she’d pointed out. In addition, the few Moroi that she’d grown up around-- while a part of the Moroi society-- had settled in Dalcrest and as such were a part of Dalcrest’s world and codes. “It’s about one of the Moroi students here.” 

     Mithian’s tone is serious, maybe even a little annoyed, not toward the Queen but the situation. “It’s been brought to the Vitale Society’s attention that there’s a group of Moroi that have been feeding on humans. But not ones who willingly became feeders.” It was a grave issue, especially when this town was a place where there were resources for Moroi to get willing feeders easily. 

     “If I can be frank..” and she doesn’t wait before continuing “..I believe we need a better system here. The Elder’s Council and Vitale Society have been more than accommodating to the Moroi system but we should be able to address these issues directly without someone like me having to hunt down someone like you. The V.S. has authority over all the other supernaturals on campus in terms of maintaining balance and the codes. It begins to border on implied favoritism when the Moroi are treated differently than the rest.” There’s a certain passion to her voice that shows that Mithian truly dislikes this set-up. Granted, if the Elder’s Council knew she was taking it upon herself to bring this up to the Moroi Queen, well, Mithian might face some issues.

”People? Who?” Carly interjected, her heart rate increasing with anticipation. Mithian knew so much more about magic than she, and knew even more powerful people. If there was anyone to help her in her quest for knowledge, it was Mithian. She was fortunate to have a mentor and friend who could open so many doors for her. The blonde’s earlier aloofness subsided and her shoulders relaxed. “I’m sorry, it’s been a weird transition being back and I shouldn’t have let my mood gotten to me like that. Thanks for the rescue, Master.” The blonde offered a small smile that didn’t fully reach her eyes, but it was something.

   There’s an obvious smirk on her face when Carly begins to question just who Mithian’s taking her to. “I suppose that depends on who’s home when we get there.” Mithian replied cryptically. “It’s alright, you’re still new to all this. But just know this is only the beginning. Being a part of us is going to start to open doors for you. You have access to our collective knowledge now. But being my fellow Star Wars nerd lets you have a few more doors than the others.” Mithian joked, beginning to lead her out to her car. 

     “As you know this town has it’s own history. The Vitale Society is relatively knew in the grand scheme of things.” She pauses there, face lighting up when a massive dark-haired wolf-dog barks in the back seat of her car. Of course she had left the windows cracked. “Grom, quiet, this is a friend.” Mithian responds to which the dog lays back down and Mithian opens the car. 

     “Get in. We’re going to Mullinhaven. The home of our resident high pack. Werewolves.” And for dramaticeffect she waits to say the last part until Carly’s in the car and she can pull out of the parking space.

Startled with the sudden attention Mithian directed towards her, Carly blushed slightly and raised an eyebrow at the brunette. She didn’t mind staying in class, and really didn’t like all the eyes looking at her as she gathered her things. The blonde shuffled out of the room and gave Mithian a curious glance. With a raised eyebrow, Carly spoke. “And why exactly do I need a jailbreak? I don’t mind class.”

There’s a slight eyebrow raise of her own, a response to her tone. Most students that were taken out of class relished the chance. Furthermore, it wasn’t often that Mithian herself took kids out of class, unless it was Kol that is. Still, Mithian smiled without missing a beat, shaking her head. “Such a bookworm, you’ve got to learn to live a little Carly.” 

It wasn’t said in an insulting manner, just casually. She wanted to see Carly out of her comfort zone, wanted to see her challenge herself, become more confident. “There was some people I wanted you to meet but by all means if you want to go back to class....”

     “I’m sorry Professor but Carly Sage is needed outside of class.” Mithian states, waiting by the door to the Freshman’s class until the professor acknowledged her. There was some faint muttering by students in the back, especially when the Professor seemed accepting of this excuse and told the blonde to gather her things and complete the class assignment for the next day. 

     A smirk crosses her features when they get outside of the class. “And that, is what Power gets you my little Padawan. Jailbreak.”

Bruce shook his head aned just gave her one of those amused smiles that he always did when she brought up her old nicknames “We’re not children anymore Mithian.” he told her, his eyes rolling slightly as they walked together, it was good to see his friend again even after the disaster that had been halloween. “It must be nice to live so close to school.” he said, “It was a bit of a flight, plus unpacking for me; though I don’t really need tht much sleep anyway.” he said, “Well if you’re heading that way I’ll go with you…if you want.”

     Mithian pouted, yet a smile remained behind it. “Oh Brucy..” she clapped him on the shoulder dramatically, “,,,you don’t have to be a child to use a nickname. Don’t be such a gumpy-pants.” With a small laugh she began to walk backward, speaking to him as she did so. 

     “Yeah, I guess sometimes it doesn’t really feel like I’m in school. I might have been born in Gotham but I’ve lived here so long that this is my home now.” Mithian revealed, a pause occurring as she seemed to observe a group of people talking in the distance. 

     “Perfect, you can finally meet Grom.” If he paid any attention to her Instagram he’d know that Grom was her over-sized wolf-dog.

     “Dragomir, do you have a minute? It’s important.” Truth be told the leader of the Vitale Society and Elder’s Council member hadn’t said more than a few words to the Moroi Queen in the semester she’d known her. Sure she had observed her, worked to determine if she’d be a threat to the society’s plans, and sure she had had more than one unpleasant encounter with Rose Hathaway but this was the first time she was directly approaching Lissa. It wasn’t that strange, given she was a different year but it mattered not. This wasn’t a social call, per say. 

     “Sorry, am I supposed to address you as Queen or something?” The girl wasn’t her Queen even if she was one to the Moroi and the situation that brought her to the girl already had her in a bad mood given it being the first week back at school, but, she supposed even if the Moroi presented complications with the way the town was run-- throwing jurisdiction into a gray area-- she should be respectful.
