Iron Lung

I was impressed by it. The acting was a little hammy but it worked for the mood. Surrealism and and ocean of blood go well together. The production was earnest and fully realized.

I see some people complaining about it; I don't think they're really film buffs, to be honest. If you like excellent indie media and brooding cosmic horror, Iron Lung brought the rewards.

Widow's Bay, or as I'm calling it, The Patricia Show:

some kind of deal about the mayor being not super likeable and it turns out he's been lying to his son the whole kid's life and so forth but honestly! the Patricia episode totally revived my interest in the show, to the extent that I was a little annoyed by episode 10 entirely. "How is Patricia" "where is Patricia" "how does this affect Patricia though"

just one point of view; maybe you were into the bachelorette party or the son or something idk;

to me the best relationship in the story is between the irritated sheriff and the plucky but flawed administrative assistant to the mayor

HOWEVER

there is a Chris Fleming appearance and it's a real delight; showpig plays showpigself super well
