remember when marina diamandis made up a character that mocked the way women are perceived in media and ppl missed the satire and then proceeded to say the exact things she was making fun of she was literally dragging sexists in the most meta way possible anyways electra heart is a masterpiece
They’ve been telling us from the beginning that we can’t win.
Even CNN said it today, “…every time you ask that question [if he’s dropping out] it shows you don’t get what Bernie is really about. Sanders is not waging a political campaign but rather a “political revolution””
continuing with:
“Sanders winning the Democratic nomination and even the White House is truly not the prize that Sanders, or many of his supporters, are seeking. He wants to transform the system. This is a man who vowed when he launched his campaign that “we’re going to build a movement of millions of Americans who are prepared to stand up and fight back.” And he has done just that.
And the more we talk about the issues Sanders is championing, the more it becomes clear that Sanders has already won.”
So even if the results from yesterday seem to make that conclusion ever more so - we need to keep fighting.
If your state is coming up and you planned on voting Bernie or are on the fence, vote Bernie.
If you’ve phone banked before or even if you haven’t - keep/start phone banking.
If you have Bernie yard signs, pins, posters - keep them up, keep the pride going.
If you have Bernie blogs, forums, etc. - keep posting on them, especially with information on the revolution as a whole (not only Bernie Sanders but the work of activists everywhere)
Bernie is still in the race. The number he has by the convention says a lot more than whether he’s behind or ahead of Clinton.
The revolution is a movement, not merely an election and movements don’t just stop - they keep going no matter what.
Bernie has never given up on us, let’s not give up on him.
And if you really need something else to keep you going… the FBI is still investigating Clinton.
Change does not come from within the Democratic establishment. The continuation of the status quo does not address the massive inequalities/problems with health care, overturning Citizens United, campaign finance reform, improving voting rights, student debt, trade deals, Wall St reform, tax shelters, climate, oil/coal, fracking, carbon taxes, Israel/Palestine, prison industrial complex, death penalty, mandatory sentencing, institutional racism, biased policing, and minimum wage to name a few.
dont give up

Man is defined as a human being and woman is defined as a female. Whenever she tries to behave as a human being she is accused of trying to emulate the male.
