Straight pride is being able to be honest about your sexuality without being shamed, harassed and even physically assaulted by your peers and even loved ones.
Working on OC ref sheets for all the characters from this one project Iām working on.

Yāall like Hannibal?
Just a style bend I made. Iām gonna have to draw this character in my usual style, since I really like her.
Stop Cat-calling people.
You might think itās a complement but 99% of the time it feel like a threat. There is a gut wrenching feeling of danger that comes with a cat call. On top of that many people look older than their age, and itās terrifying for a teenager to have a grown adult holler at them like a piece of meat. Even if you mean it as a compliment, itās never comes across as kind or flattering. Telling someone they look nice or that you like their outfit can be said in so many better ways.
Apparently, lying in bed with you eyes closed while listening to punk-metal is not āsleepingā.
Guess who drank all your shampoo?
so how many black people have to say it before you listen?
stop making blm into something you incorporate into your fandoms. if you canāt sympathize w real people, then just say so. if you want that clout off of black pain, then just say so. what are you really saying when you make blm aus?
this a joke to you? is the rioting fun for you?
are you having fun because you managed to repackage your discomfort into something easy to fictionalize?
and youāre making memes and jokes about the real life deaths of people? thatās what their lives were to you?
you show you really donāt give a fuck. you just want those likes and reblogs. this is a trend to you and you donāt want to confront how uncomfortable everything makes you.

PEOPLE OF THE BLM MOVEMENT ARE TRYING TO CAUSE AN ECONOMIC BLACKOUT THAT WOULD COST THE GOVERNMENT AROUND 3.5 BILLION DOLLARS!

check out #boycottamerikkka on twitter for more info. this time is not just about creating an economic blackout through corporate boycott, but also about supporting black businesses. letās show up for them
IF YOU REALLY NEED TO PURCHASE SOMETHING OR IN NEED OF SERVICES, MAKE SURE TO RESEARCH TO SEE IF YOU CAN BUY THOSE PRODUCTS OR SERVICES FROM A BLACK OWNED BUSINESS FIRST!!!!! SUPPORT BLACK OWNED BUSINESSES!!!!!
[both tweets are by Majesty Ria and tagged with #BoycottAmerikkka : You donāt need to go to Target for hair products & body wash or body oils when there are plenty of black owned stores thatās ready to cater to your needs. You can stop eating Chick-Fil-A for a while.. & support some local mom & pop restaurants with better burgers! #BoycottAmerikkka is a community effort. I started it but itās not mine. Itās ours. Im black, so itās naturally a Black movement but Malcolm X saidĀ āI, for one, will stand with anyone, I donāt care what color you are as long as they wanna change this miserable condition.ā]
Important ideas to consider when creating characters who are black and indigenous people of color. (x)

[Image I.D: Tips for protesting in a hijab.
The less fabric, the better. If you wear a rectangle hijab, tuck in the long ends. Squares are preferred as theyāre smaller.
Do not wear pins. Use a magnet if you have one or wear jersey or another hijab that does not require pins.
Bring an extra hijab. Bring an extra hijab in case you get tear gassed- it can linger on the fabric and get reactivated, so itās best to change. End I.D.]
As many people have said in the notes, if a hijabi woman gets her hijab removed/needs to remove it to save herself from tear gas, form a small human barrier/circle so other people can't see her. Men, look away as soon as you realize what's happening (if you're part of the barrier, turn your back to her). Carry an extra scarf, or if you don't have one, offer her something to cover her head, even just a jacket will work for the time being.
