i think i’ve already said this but even though she is too old to play ciri at the age she’s supposed to be i’m genuinely so impressed with freya in season 2 .... her performance was really captivating and she had really good chemistry with all the other actors even though they’re all so much older than her and also u know what. she was like Deceptively funny

i’m still so in love with the concept of ciri as a figure of mythology/a kind of urban legend who pops up time and time again in dozens of worlds and timelines … like that’s just so fun my brain goes Brrrrrrrrr

legends of an ashen-haired girl who appeared and disappeared without a trace, sometimes he was there and gone in an instant but sometimes she stayed around for days or months. sometimes by herself, sometimes accompanied by a unicorn or a jet black horse. in this world she’s a protector or a guardian after she killed a man preying on girls in a local village. in this one she’s a bogeyman who parents use to scare their children into behaving, “don’t stay in the woods past dark, that’s when the scarred maiden appears”. in that one she’s only remembered in idioms or foolish expressions, like “you really expect me to believe that? next you’ll be telling me you saw a girl and a unicorn appear in the town square”
