It’s funny that I barely understood what was going on during UCI’s PCN but the one thing that I remember is the title of the show. Que Sera, Sera. Whatever will be, will be. Amid the surrealness and craziness of what I’ve been going through this year, that phrase comes to mind. I couldn’t tell you what I’ve been doing or where I’m headed. I’m just going with the flow and seeing where life takes me. Looking back, I realized I got caught thinking about the future too early when my short term goals were not established. This period of freelancing I’ve been experiencing has shown me to really let go and let God. It’s okay if nothing is certain right now. Life has shown me that shit can get thrown to the wall at any time, especially in the young stage of my life I’m in at the moment. I’ve seen it happen to people I’ve been very close to so I know I’m not the only one. What can I really ask for besides living life right now? I don’t even know what i want right now. But I’ve learned that it is a-ok for now.

Thanks for bringing out the effort in me that I’ve been lacking. I’ve lost how to do the little things and bringing that out of me showed me how big they actually are. Simple actions can go a long way. Being straight up takes so much doubt of everything and makes the situation much easier to swallow. Why does facing the music have to be a bad thing? I’m tired of the what ifs and the what could have beens. But this time, it’s straightforward. I came out ahead with no bitterness or hurt this time. Que Sera, Sera, is really what we’re following. With the start of my five week vacation who knows where I’ll be at. But honestly, it’s okay. Finally, a talk where disappointment and failure did not ensue after. I needed these life lessons because I really had no idea what I was doing. I still don’t know what I should be doing, but there’s nothing wrong with that. Whatever will be, will be.
