Collaboration of Ceramist Ursula Vogel, Soundmodifier Yannik Sandhofer and me. 'Moved by Humidity: Vase Bodies with an «unsuitable» Glaze. Cracks occur in the glaze during the cooling process. These are amplified by microphony and humidity and played with using delays and other effects.'

Hi, I'm Ziska,

a guitar and bass player, producer, songwriter, composer and singer. Here’s my -> Instagram My self produced solo EP called ”sun exposure” came out on A Tree In A Field Records in 2024.

- Before that I’ve also played for NEMO, LONG TALL JEFFERSON, NONE OF THEM, HAUBI SONGS, KIMBO and others. I’ve also co-founded ACID AMAZONIANS and was a member of the group for 6 years.

- I’ve given songwriting and band workshops for Helvetiarockt and wrote ZISKA’S SONGBOOK – a collection of lyrics, published 2018 by Amsel Verlag Zürich. 2021 I was awarded a grant by Nico Kaufmann Stiftung for being active for gender equality in the swiss music scene. In November 2022 the City of Zurich awarded me a Werkjahr. Lately I’ve been venturing into producing and wrote and staged a piece for 10 electric guitars.

BAND OF ELECTRIC GUITARS

Neubad Luzern and I organised this special show in collaboration. It was the grande finale of a 10-days program for the 10 years anniversary of Neubad. It was the premiere of my composition for 10 Electric Guitars.
