One Two Three Drink || Unholy Trinity (Kenna + Poppy + Zita)

"Okay, she just texted me back and said she'd be here any minute," Kenna said as she whirled around on her heels to look at Poppy. Kenna bounced happily over to where the sound dock was set up and set her iPhone in it, then grabbed the remote so she would be ready whenever Z did arrive. "Is everything ready?" she asked, glancing around. Kenna had somehow or other convinced Chase to buy her and Z some alcohol (and to use his house for this surprise party). He'd said he needed some Toby time anyway, and Kenna had done her best not to shudder at the thought.

She watched as Poppy zipped around the room putting the final touches on the decorations before finally coming to a stop. "I swear, I get really bad motion sickness when I watch you do that. You think I would have learned by now," Kenna chuckled before pausing as she heard the taxi pull up outside. "She's here!" Kenna cried out before running full speed and jumping (like someone in an action movie would) over the back of the couch and crouching down to hide.

"Poppy, hit the lights and then come hide!!!"

Oustide the house, Zita watched the lights turn off and one brow rose. Oh lord, what had Kennoppy planned now?? She handed some cash to the taxi driver before turning and stepping up onto the sidewalk and going to the door. She glanced down at her phone once more and read the text from Kenna that said to just come on in. Taking a breath, she steeled herself for whatever was about to come and pushed the door open.

As he did, the lights flipped on, Kenna and Poppy popped up from behind a couch and yelled SURPRISE at the top of their lungs, and then the heavy bass of the music break of Timber by Pitbull and Ke$ha began to play. Z... Well, she couldn't help but smile. She had pretty great friends.

"Girls!" she exclaimed, running into their arms as they all shared a group hug. "I've missed you guys so much!"

Masquerade Time || Aria & Zita

"Yeah, I just landed," Zita said into the phone as she walked through the airport, "I don't know, Matt, can you just handle it? Isn't that what I pay you for, I mean...???" Zita brusher her long hair back over her shoulders and let out a breath, "Tell VS that I will fly anywhere they want, whenever they want, but I would just like two weeks for time with my family, I don't think that's a ridiculous request." Shaking her head, she muttered, "Just take care of it, Matt. Goodbye." She then hung up the phone and stuffed it down into the cross-body bag she carried.

Z stopped by the designated area and picked up Leo, smiling happily as her pup came bounding out of his crate and into her arms. "Hey, handsome, I missed you, too!" she let him give her a couple of sloppy kisses before standing, signing the required papers and heading off towards the baggage claim.

As she came up the escalator, Z spotted the crowd of people who were waiting for friends and family and loved ones to come off their flights. But then she caught sight of her name on a sign and paused, turning back to look at it. She'd only told Aria and Henry that she was coming back into town; she hadn't expected either of them to actually show up. So seeing Aria standing there holding a sign with her name on it was... Well... Shocking.

Z brushed a strand of hair back from her face and let out a light laugh as she approached her sister. Even though she'd just been through two airports and a long ass flight, Z still looked like a million bucks. Her Ma would have killed her otherwise. "Ari?" she said with a warm smile, "I didn't expect anyone to pick me up!" She stepped in and wrapped her arms around her sister, "I've missed you! I know we saw each other in London, but that seems forever ago, too."

Personality

Zita is probably exactly what you would expect of a twenty-one year old. She stays up too late and drinks too much, and her most important goal in life at the moment is to have fun. The two most important people (outside her family) are her best friends, Poppy and Kenna; and if the three of them together you’d better look out because trouble is in bound. And those two girls are the only two who truly know Zita all the way to the core of her heart, as her two best friends are the only ones who know that she’s a lesbian. Telling anyone else has always been too hard for her, so she’s simply kept it a secret. And this is where her ability for deceit stemmed from. Having figured out her sexuality early in her high school years, Zita has spent all of the years since perfecting her ability to hide this fact about herself. It’s probably why she spends most of her time with Poppy and Kenna, who know her secret, so she doesn’t have to be the deceitful person she’s made of herself. It’s also probably one of the biggest reasons she jumped at the opportunity to go to New York for a model’s residency.

You will most likely find Zita in a club or at a bar, drink in hand and dancing with her two favorite people. As much as she might love her family, she’s always felt like the odd one out. And while some of that might be her own fault, she knows that a lot of it simply stems from her deep jealousy issues. As the baby of the family, she was always either overprotected or left out completely, and that meant she was often left on the sidelines to watch her older siblings going off to have their fun.

Biography

Zita (meaning: little girl) was the last of the five Bertinelli children. Being the baby in a big Italian family wasn’t always easy. She grew up always in the shadow of her older sisters, and hardly spent any time with her brothers that didn’t involve them swatting any and all possible suitors away from her. For the most part, Z was left feeling like the only quality time she got with her siblings were family dinners, and then later on in life was shifting for the full moon. But then there was always the awkward naked part at the end of that. Z found that her true feeling of belonging would come not from family, but from the friends she made in her lifetime. Despite being two and three years older than them, Z found that Kenna and Poppy brought with them a sense of love and safety. And for the first time when she was a sophomore in high school, she admitted to her two best friends that she was a lesbian. And to this day, those two are the only ones that she’s revealed her true self to.  It was during her Senior year of high school that she went on a field trip to New York city with her theater company that she was spotted by a talent agent and told that her life could change if she wanted it to. She was told that if she wanted to pursue a  career in modeling, that he believed she could be very successful. So, unbeknownst to her parents or really anyone in her family, Zita kept in contact with the agent all the way until she was eighteen and a legal adult. Instantly she signed on with his company and was whisked off to a model housing building in New York. For the past two years, Zita has been residing in New York, modeling nearly every day and night. Her biggest accomplishment to date is becoming a model for Victoria’s Secret. She not only does catalog work for them, but was also in the most recent fashion show. Sure, she was only in the PINK segment, but she got to wear “wings” and that was a huge deal. She’s made quite a name for herself, but she knew it was time to take a little vacation and come home. She only hopes that her secret can remain in tact when her family realizes how fervently she tries to avoid them.
