ok it turns out writing the literal personification of sadness and grief 24/7 is actually not good for my mental health, especially during a pandemic.... SO i will not be writing iris for the time being.

hi! don’t worry, you’re not a bother at all, & i appreciate the clarifying question. the reason i say not to follow if those things make you uncomfortable is out of an abundance of caution- i have pretty severe ptsd, & have seen tumblr content that’s sent me into a panic attack before, & i don’t want my blog to trigger anybody.

instances of abuse & familial death are mentioned as backstory, but only occasionally in head - canons. i never go into detail about it, & i’ll never write it. eldritch horror, grief & unreality are things i explore in threads pretty regularly though, & as such don’t tag. they’re what i base my portrayal on.

i’ve clarified my rules in response to this, in an effort to make my stance clearer. thank you for the ask!
