I could draw every day for 100 years and still wouldn't come close to even being a fraction as talented as you are! You're especially great with hair--like Sirius is always gorgeous, of course, but I'm actually most impressed by your Remus' hair. Love how you always draw it with so much movement, despite his hair being relatively short, to match the flow of his body and/or pose. It's almost embarrassing how long I spend admiring it every time! I love your art so so so much!!!

i know i haven't been active in here for a while, but i wanted to answer this bc this is actually so important to me. yes, a compliment on how i draw hair is especially important to me ahdkshfk i'll explain

as a teenager obsessed with death note, one of the things that really drove me to draw was the way that takeshi obata drew hair! and to this day it is still one of my favorite things to draw

Day 19: Fan Art

There really is a plethora of beautiful fan art in HP fandom, whatever the pairing. We are so incredibly lucky to have such talent in our midst.

Today I am recommending zoasart, because I (so far) haven’t seen them recommended yet. (I may have missed it.) Also, each work they have posted tells its own story, and I love the range of the age of the characters. With these works archived on AO3 it’s also a wee more accessible— and absolutely worth it no matter where the art is hosted. Mind the tags, some of it is NSFW but plenty is, which is also why I am recommending it. There is something for everyone, and I really love how you get a feel for the characters through the art.
