âToday has been so boring. somebody do something to liven up the dayâ

ââI think, that they think theyâre being smooth. Honest and outspoken. I donât know. People do a lot of things that Iâll never understand.â
Fiona rolled her eyes âwell, its none of those things. itâs just creepyâ she told her. âanyways, how are you?âÂ
emiliapcrk·:
âbecause if thereâs one thing people are good at, itâs being awful?â emilia offered. âdo people pay you often?â she questioned.Â
âainât that the truth, girlâ she let a soft laugh leave her lips âno, itâs like, just a standards thing, you know?âÂ
ivycooper·:
âDo you really think that having people pay you for that kind of stuff makes you better than them?â
Fiona raised a brow at the other girl âuh, no sweetie, i didnât say that.â she rolled her eyes âbut, I do have standardsâÂ
âwhy do people think cat calling will get them anywhere? unless youâre paying me, i will not do things for you. and even then, iâm pickyâÂ
Catching Up | Ezra & Sadie

Ezra was still somewhat dumbfounded and in a state of disbelief, not knowing how he was meant to feel about any of what he was being told. But when she apologized for telling him, he felt like he needed to make a point of getting it through to her that heâd rather be told the truth than be kept completely in the dark about something like this. âHey..â He moved a little closer to her on the couch, reaching out to squeeze her hand for a moment while he said it, âYou donât have to be sorry, okay? Iâm glad you told me. Weâll figure it out. And whether he ends up beinâ..-â He almost used the word mine, but he bit his tongue. That made it feel too real. âWhether Iâm the dad or not, I want to meet the kid. Because heâs part you, and you were my friend, way before all the⊠yâknow.â The messy fling they had that may or may not have resulted in a teen pregnancy, Ezra, that. His voice was just the slightest bit shaky as he told her, âI care to know him because heâs part of you.â He retracted his hand, not wanting to overstep, or make her uncomfortable by getting too close.â
Sadie looked up at him as he moved closer. she still felt bad for bringing it up, knowing it was gonna change his life if he came out to be the father. but also, part of her hated the emotional part of this-- she liked just hiding her feelings away until they eventually disappeared. but during and after her pregnancy, thatâs when her emotions became harder for her to handle and she acted on them a lot more. She nodded and smiled at him âyeah, iâd like that because heâll be tagging along to almost anything I do nowâ she laughed to lighten the mood a little bit, it was getting far too heavy for her liking and she was sure that he fetl the same about it. âthanks, you really are a pretty good guyâ she smiled, nudging him just a little bit.

Catching Up | Ezra & Sadie
ezraward·:
Ezra was so conflicted right then. On the one hand, he was really hurt that she hadnât come to him about this sooner, and even more hurt than he already had been (but hadnât let show before) about the abrupt way their fling ended and they just stopped talking, leaving him wondering what heâd done. In one way or another, Ezra felt like he was getting used to ending up in situations where he had to wonder what heâd done. On the other hand, it made him feel⊠strangely flattered, to hear her say that she was someone he hoped could be the dad. He didnât understand why, it wasnât as though he wanted to be a father, especially at seventeen, and with a whole plan for the future that involved him only living about another decade, a current lifestyle that was beginning to match that more everyday it wasnât like he was the best candidate. But he was good with kids, and if there was one thing he knew, it was that he was nothing like his own real father; heâd never be the piece of shit who didnât step up. It was comforting in the oddest way to think that maybe Sadie saw that in him, and thatâs why she didnât hate the idea of it being him. âI..- Mâsorry, I jusâ⊠fuck, I donât even know what to say right nowâŠâ He admitted, looking her expression over, trying to get a read on her and fully grasp what was happening. ââŠI want to take the test, find out for sure.â He nodded, pausing for a beat, âBut I think Iâd also like to meet him, if thatâd be alright? Not now, I know heâs sleeping, jusâ⊠sometime.âÂ
Sadie hated this. she never liked talking about things with people, she would rather decide to brush things under the rug until she got too drunk and blurted it out or, it didnât matter anymore. neither were good solutions but, Sadie didnât like feeling awkward or that she was hurting someone. she didnât know what he was feeling but, she was also scared to ask. she never once considered his emotions in this-- mainly because she didnât really know if he was a possibility or not. still, he was the better of the people that she thought could be candidates. she probably could have gone her whole life without digging up who the possible father could be but, she wanted Alfie to know. he deserved to know. plus, this might prevent any awkward questions about the father later on in life. or not. but she was at least trying. she shook her head âitâs okay-- iâm sorry for springing this on you. itâs just-- he deserves to know who his father is. even if itâs not you or they donât want a relationship with him.â she explained, sighing. she too was full of mixed emotions. she just wasnât sure anymore. âif you want to stick around, he wonât sleep for long and you can meet himâ she offered âbut also, if itâs too much for today, we can make it for another time.âÂ
