This will be the third week I can't afford to buy groceries. After paying the bills for this week I have $3.00. I'm thinking about just buying some 99 cent spaghetti-OS for wesley and then using the WIC checks to get some eggs and bread for this month. Fingers crossed I figure out how to pay our rent.
This feels vaguely threatening
Life update: I'm actually doing really well in school for once in my life. I've been getting really high A's which I thought was impossible due to my programs strict grading scale and I've passed the sims that I needed to. I start clinicals Tuesday.
Wren is in daycare now and it makes me sad but she's doing fine. Wesley is lovely and funny and has really big emotions. She's still doing dance but I want to get her into something like Tball.
My grandma is slowly recovering from her heart attack. My uncle who is my favorite person in the world is slowly dying of ALS. I said goodbye to him this weekend and it was awful.
Christian is still amazing and I love him so much. Hes so supportive and loving and great.
I have nightmares every single night about being raped, killed, or having my children taken from me, sometimes it's all three. So.i should probably see someone about that stuff I'm clearly not over. Also I should probably see a dentist since I have a ginormous cavity. But we're poor!

Made all this yesterday, enough for five bottles! Ended up freezing quite a bit of it. Now I'm pumping at school but I somehow lost a part of one bottle in between classes which is making this super inconvenient

We watched a show last night and a woman gave birth. It was a really typical tv labor. But even still, she pushed, the baby came out, there was a very brief pause and then the baby cried and the mom held the baby. I was nursing Wren and couldn't help myself, I started bawling and hugging her. On one hand it's only been a month since she was born and it was the scariest day of my life, but on the other it's been a month and I should be over it, after all she's fine. Ah

Tonight's our first date night since I've been pregnant and I cant find anything fancy to wear because my boobs are too big and my dresses won't zip. I kinda miss being in the itty bitty committee
A little life update
Youngest to oldest style? I say yes.
Wren just had her very last weight check! I am no longer being pressured to use formula and they are confident she's on the right track now? The culprit is 100% dairy and her peds agree that the evidence is damning. Every symptom I didnt even know was a symptom has gone away and she's already busting out of newborn sizes now. So yay! She's 6 weeks now and things are going well. I pump the exact amount she's eaten during the day or more which rocks. She has a hip ultrasound next week and then she *hopefully* won't need anymore special appointments. She'll start attending Wesley's daycare in two weeks.
Wesley is awesome. She's starting to actually read now and it makes me teary eyed. We've worked so hard on letter recognition and it's paying off. She'll be going to kindergarten next year and she's so well prepared for it. We just need to decide where to live before then so we can pick a good district.
Both girls are going to my dads tonight so Christian and I can have a date night. My birthday is next thursday but he's off tomorrow and I don't have classes monday so we figured this was our chance. At first they were going to do a sleepover but I don't think I can let go of Wren that much yet.
Christian is working really hard and is an amazing dad. He stays home with Wren while I go to class right now and I know how hard it is but he doesn't complain at all and usually has the house clean and what not. I love him so much.
School is really stressful but I enjoy it. I'm acing all my quizzes and assignments right now but I'm disappointed because the highest score I can get in one class is a C because of my TB test not being approved yet even though I submitted it when I was supposed to. So now I really have to ace all those tests because if I get anything less I'll be removed from the program.
Also it's nice to speak to other adults throughout the day but its overall really lonely because most of the people in my program have already made study groups and I cannot be a part since I have to spend all my breaks pumping but c'est la vie.

Left is what I got for the entire day yesterday. Right is only from the first pump I do while driving to school. So far every day I've made enough for her to eat the whole next day and still have some leftover! Hopefully the journey continues this way.
