Anyways, this is basically what this rp is: A bunch of people who are supposed to each represent a Western zodiac sign, a Western cusp sign or an Eastern zodiac sign s are now suddenly in Sigferor together. THERE IS NO ACTUAL PLOT OTHER THAN THAT. It's really just shenanigans they go through and like, character developpement and relationships and whatever they do. They all have personalities corresponding to their sign. They don't have to be born on that sign because THEY ARE THE SIGN. They can have powers and shit I guess? Idk, just- READ THE RULES AND SEE IF YOU WANNT JOIN OK OK
The Cult of Jupiter has kept a clean distance from outer influences in the cult and their ritualism has been practiced for years on end. The Cult works especially hard to reserve the honesty of their history and has been for years: from their experiments to the histories of the other Zodiacs—from the battles fought by Leon to the scenario involving Kyt. In the case of the current moment, the Zodiac’s have been gathered to one of their more prosperous bases owned by the cult (as of today) this base being buried deep within the forests surrounding Sigferor…
It is know, more or less, by a certain cult that the 'Zodiac's' have existed for years and counting. The archives state of many tales that could arguably be legends or folklore though, if you were to ask those keep the archives of this aforementioned cult they'd say it was all true--every single thing about it; true. Some lines of souls who have reincarnated over and over have been shattered, others zodiac 'guardians' have been snapped out by the gods for being 'inadequate' or 'hopeless' and replaced by a new person.
The cult, we, are watching you--so are the Gods, staring down upon you. You were chosen because you have the potential to become something that other's cannot be, that some people wait unknowingly to become. Lives have come and gone and your soul may be old or new but the question is...who were you?
So, basically, this is about your character's past life.
Name: (should be straight forward.)
Gender: (also pretty straight forward)
Sign: (Should match the same sign of your character. If not, I'll fukken choke u)
Date of birth: (Try to think this out. Make it reasonable.)
Date of death/end/passing:(again, be reasonable but don't let 'reasonable' mean that it dumbs down your creativity. Let yo colors fly. Shine like a zodiac.)
Cause of death/demise/whatever: (If your character is a rather knew soul and the old soul of the other Zodiac 'Guardian' was say...disbanded by the Gods or damaged and shattered by some kind of spiritual dwelling or ritual you should state how it was shattered or why the Gods dropped it and picked a knew guy. Nontheless, you should say how they perished be it that they became a river spirit or happened to be only half-immortal and manage to fall down a well. GET FUCKING CRAZY.)
History: (at the least state their place of birth and a bit of how their life was. Try to throw in how the Gods thought of their actions and how it reflects in their current life if it does)
Physical Description: (just hair, clothing style, body type, facial features--take the liberty to draw a pic if you wanna)

Okay so this isn’t that big a deal but I just figured that I should share this.
So a roleplay “starter” is basically the first post in a roleplay thread or the first approach of two characters. This is sometimes known as a prompt. Moving on. There are two main types of roleplay starters, one of which is absolute gold, the other of which should be avoided at all costs.
Passive and active starters.
What the hell do this fancy terms mean, you may ask? Well it’s not something a lot of people put a name to, but it’s very important when creating starters. While active starters are almost always thought-provoking and interesting, passive starters are often boring and absolutely useless.
Here is an example of a passive starter.
Mary was simply walking down the street when she noticed Sam. “Hi there!” She said.
That. That is literally the bane of my existence. Now, not all passive starters are simple “hello”s. In my own terms, a passive starter is any starter that requires more thought on the receiving party’s end than the giving party’s. Yes, a passive starter could possibly be worked with for a few replies, but the two characters quickly run out of things to talk about. But you see, the person dishing out the starter should be igniting something, giving them receiving person something to talk about. That, in essence, is what roleplaying is all about. That’s why you would want an active starter. For example:
Mary was strolling casually down the road when suddenly, she tripped. As she fell, she heard a clanking noise, and upon recovery realized that she had dropped something important out of her pocket, and it had fallen into a drainage vent. Eyes wide, she jumped up from the ground and tapped a stranger on the shoulder, “Uh, excuse me, sir! I’ve dropped something down that grate over there… would you please help me get it out?”
Now, obviously that’s not the best starter in the world, but it gives a motive. It’s thought-provoking. It gives the receiving end of the RP more to think about, and therefore, propels the RP forward.
Does this make any sense? If so, just keep this in mind. For future reference, some of the most common passive starters are:
Simple greetings
Having your character be meandering about, expecting the other character to approach them. No, you’re starting it, you’re supposed to lead.
Approaching and not saying anything.
Any of those should be avoided, and anything else that seems passive to you. I hope that now, with this whole passive/active system in mind, you can write better starters and have better rps! Peace be with you. Any questions? Feel free to ask me!

You and your RP group elect one RPer to roll the 100-sided dice. If you can’t decide, just go in alphabetical order of your tumblr roleplay blog usernames. Don’t worry, everyone will get a turn. (If you change your name to get ahead, you will be skipped over until the next time they get to your name. No excuses. Fair is fair).
Rolling the dice is easy: you go to this site, select “100” from the drop down list for number of sides, “1” for number of dice to roll and “1” for number of rolls. You are only allowed to roll once.
Whatever number comes up, you look up the corresponding number on the scenario list above and figure out a way for your character to instigate it or introduce it. Be creative. Many of these scenarios are left open-ended and vague so the interpretation is entirely up to you.
Watch the scenario unfold.
Repeat once everyone gets bored/or when you want to heighten the stakes. Make sure you’re communicating with your RP group via OCC chat.

Here it is, Chapter 1 of my Zodiac/Homestuck Crossover fic

Also, I hope you all know that I cannot portray your characters perfectly, so please don’t expect that. I’m doing this for fun, with as much accuracy as possible.
And no, I am not off Hiatus I just need people to send me some information
Next: There’s a lot of information I need for each of the characters, but I will say that because of Variation needs it may not be possible to fit every single thing you want. I’m sorry but that’s how I’m doing it.
Some of what I need may contain some rules for me, personally, so it’s easier to write.
1: Title. Class of Aspect.
There are plenty of tests to discover what your characters title is, however this is where I’ve run into conflict before. I am terribly sorry, but I don’t think I can do fan/non-canon classes and aspects. There are 12 classes and 12 aspects to choose from, for a total of 78 different Title possibilities.

You can use these to even choose your own Title without a test if you wish.
Please do not be upset if I have to change the title, because I can’t have a lot of the same classes/aspects in a single session, but rest assured there will be more than one session so I may not have to change anything.
Also, in the class section, you may see ‘exclusively male/female’. I may or may not follow this. I say that because at the top of the page there is a line that says “Calliope also explains that some of the classes tend to be assigned to males or females, some going as far as being exclusive to a certain gender.”
2: Dream self, Derse or Prospit. This one is pretty obvious, just decide whether your character is more suited for Derse or Prospit, that’s it.
3: Species. Human or Troll. Note: Trolls tend to be more aggressive, and have slightly less morals than humans, blah blah, things like that.
If you are a troll, I need to know the trolls blood color as well.
Now, I can’t have a whole bunch of people near the same blood color so I may alter it slightly if I need to.
4: Chumhandle/quirk. This is important for communication between the characters, so just pick two words that fit your characters interests, usually a chumhandle is an adjective and a noun but it doesn’t have to be that way. If your character has a quirk, especially for the trolls, I need to know it.
5: Weapon. Your character’s main weapon. There are plenty of objects in the universe that can be a weapon, whether it’s a traditional type or something crazy you might not normally think of as a weapon.
6: Land. The Land of _ and _. The world your character is the hero of. (Recommended to tell me)
7: Consorts. The creatures that live on your world. (Optional but possibly recommended)
8: Sylladex. A short description of how your character stores and holds items on their person. It can’t be too overpowered, after all this is Homestuck and things can never be too simple.
9: If you want to include a family member of your main character, you can do that too. I will most likely incorporate them as well in some way, whether as another player or a guardian or something. I don’t know yet.
I think that’s everything, so get to it. If I don’t get this from just about everyone, I can’t continue the fic, so please, please send info. Preferably on my personal blog here. Just send an ask with the info and I’ll update my information banks.
