hii! I saw your most recent piece of art and my first reaction was like - what is this sorcery? I love how in your art, the environment is more if a subject than the actual humans present. Every element is daintily and meaningfully drawn and fit together like a tapestry of meaning that encompass the magic of the story itself. You blend the abstract symbolism with concrete details so well that both become part of the same language. Your composition is enough to make me ooh and aah in wonder. For ex - The Brimhats, and how you drew Iguin always watching from above - light entangled with complexity. And I like how you drew them as planets or stars since they are so different from Pointed Hat society ( that they as well might be on another planet ). And I love how you drew that in white, implying how the Brims don't view themselves as evil. And how they are floating above, pursuing some abstract ideal none of us understand yet.

And how the circle encompassing Qifrey, Coco and her mother is green ( like the countryside Coco and her mother lived in, and the same countryside Qifrey's atelier is present. ) And his the thread connecting Coco's mother and Qifrey and Coco in the future is Coco's drawing skills ( appreciated by both her mother and Qifrey ). And how the middle panel, filled with water and Silverwood ink wholly forms and hourglass.

Oh my gosh thank you so much!!! It always means the world to me when people respond to my art with lengthy, detailed observations and compliments (I see you people in my tags as well! Thank you!). This year, also inspired by the amazing composition of the original source (witch hat) I also tried venturing and experimenting with compositions, and this has made art as a whole a lot more fun to me than before as every piece becomes something new and exciting to work with. I love how you interpreted the green as their home environments! I wanted to put their actual houses in the yellow part but couldn't figure it out since the space was narrow, but im glad even that intent you caught haha. Though the part where you noted Iguin is always watching from above in my art made me chuckle, because when drawing I also thought "wow im drawing him looming over again,, welp if the shoe fits" but your entire point on the brimhats is *chefs kiss* as well. Thank you so much for spending the time to write this out! Im gonna save this message and eat it!! no need to apologize!! im glad this art that i had a lot of fun working on became something fun(?) for you to observe and take in as well :D
