“oh, that’ll be some story. one day, many months ago, mommy shot daddy and then nursed him back to health.” letting out a lough, she nudged her nose into the side of his face contently. this farm... it was heaven. they hadn’t had this much space in what felt like years. “we culd stay here. for a while. wait the winter out.”

“it’s weird to think that we would have never met if all of this-- the apocalypse... If all of this hadn’t happened.” Of course, she wasn’t happy that the entire world had gone to absolute SHIT, but having him around was a blessing. One of rarely good parts of otherwise sucky ending. “i try to act like a normal human being and be devastated about all of it, but... all things considered, we did pretty good, zombae.”
