Hey there, I was just wondering, are you still accepting members? Love ya and thanks for making this network coz Zootopia is life <3

We’re going to accept more members within the next couple of weeks. We know that it’s been a while, but from the beginning, Hannah and I knew that this network was going to be a more casual one, so we’ve been trying to not let it stress us out too much. I’m in a year-round college and Hannah has been overseas so we’re trying to get back into the groove! Thanks so much for your patience!

why should i apply to join this group? in better terms why should i waste my time applying to join this group just to have a less than 8% chance of actually getting chosen to join? i'm not sure i understand this. hopefully you could clear this up.

hi! you actually have way more than an 8% chance of getting picked, since every time we choose new members, we go over the old applications! it’s just way easier to pick members wave by wave instead of all at once, and it keeps the network growing (also we definitely did not anticipate 100+ applications by the second wave!). 😊

and reasons to apply would be talking to new people, getting feedback on your art or edits if you make any, etc., so it’s completely up to you if you feel like that’s something you’d want or not! hope that cleared things up a bit!

Hey, I'm just a little confused as to when you will be choosing people again. May 2nd seemed like the last time members were selected and I haven't seen anything come up since then. If you could clear that up, that would be fantastic!

hi! we’re actually in the process of choosing the next course of members right now. i understand that there’s a long time period in-between members, but both hannah and i are in school right now and it’s a bit hectic. we’re trying to keep it casual, which is why we haven’t given a specific date as to when we pick members. we’ll try and announce when we’re going to be choosing as soon as we know from now on!

So I sent in a form to join, but I wasn't as descriptive as I would have liked. Is it okay to send in another form with more genuine, honest answers? Or am I just worrying too much? :3

you can send in another form if you want! just make sure to mention that this is your second application so we can discount the first one.

Do we need to re-apply if we didn't make the first cut? Additionally, is there a way to know if there was something wrong with our app/if everything was submitted correctly? Sorry to be a bother :-)

no, you don’t need to reapply! we go through all of the applications and consider them all equally before selecting. if you want to make sure your application was submitted correctly and there weren’t any errors, you can send us a message and ask us to check and we’ll let you know. if you weren’t accepted, it wasn’t because there was something wrong with your application! we got a lot of applications, and we were only able to pick a few. but we are going to pick more going along, so don’t worry!

it’s still friday in my and hannah’s time zone, but due to some recent developments, we have to push the picking of the members back to saturday (sunday for you). you’ll know you’ve been chosen because we’ll make a post stating the members, tag you in it, and send you a message letting you know of your selection.

Hey everyone! We’ve been noticing some comfort levels are a bit lower than we expected, so we just wanted to clarify something:

When you apply, you are free to include or not include whatever personal info you want (other than your URL – we need that to find your blog); however, if you’re accepted, we will need the following from you:

• Your email, to add you to the chat blog. • A selfie for the members page (this isn’t an absolute requirement, if you really, really don’t want to use a selfie you can use something else, but we really prefer selfies because it’s easier to get to know someone if you have a face to put with the name, and they just they make everything more friendly and personal!) • Your name or nickname and a short bio, again for the members page.
